Mizar leaves the shop, and then goes to a nearby woman, asking if she knew anyone that could fix broken power cells

Scaer looks around quickly, and slips into the "Words of Wisdom". Scaer walks in and casually strides up to the bookkeeper.
"Hello. Nice to meet you, my name's Joey."
The bookkeeper replies in a strong Australian accent "Nice to meet you Joey. Can I help you with anything?"
"Yes actually. Have you heard about anything weird going on around here lately? I mean being the bookkeeper and all, you should be quite knowledgeable, right?" Scaer says with a smile.
"Ahaha... Why would you think something weird is going on around here?"
Scaer leans forward and puts his elbows on the table.
"Just things I've heard around town. You sure you haven't heard anything?"
"Nothing that everyone else hasn't heard. Strange faceless men, roaming the streets. Some unexplained influx of skaven around the town. Mages waking up without any mana."
"Strange faceless men you say?" Scaer says with curiosity. "And skaven?"
"Skaven? Everyone knows what they are, and that`s no good at the best of times. And yes, strange, faceless men, wrapped in bandages and wearing black suits."
"And Mages waking up without mana? Does that mean they're incapable of magic now?"
"Until they replenish their mana yes." The bookkeeper looks at Scaer with a strange gaze. "You look like a mage, shouldn't you know that?"
Scaer turns and walks towards the bookshelves. "Yes yes, of course"

*to be continued*

Scaer arrives at the bookshelves to look up some of the information presented to him by the bookkeeper. Such as the strange, faceless men, the strange disappearance of mana, and the skaven.
Deciding to look up local history to see if the strange faceless men have visited before. He finds a book titled "A History of Freewater" and scans the table of contents for something of use.

TABLE OF CONTENTS:
1. Founding of Freewater
2. Rise to Greatness
3. The Noble Merchant
4. Unknown Organisation
5. Immigrants of Freewater
6. Power to the People
7. Recent Developments

Scaer decides to skim over the third and fourth chapters.

"The Nobel Merchant describes a merchant's rise to power as he helped the poor and dominated the economy at that time. After he made many donations and did much to support the town, he was declared Patrician, and his family has lived and ruled in the palace ever since."

Seeing nothing important, Scaer skims the fourth chapter.

"The section details the sudden surge in crime rates in the city 600 years ago. No people were ever seen comitting the crimes, and over 200 people were murdered in their sleep before one man finaly caught an assailant. This was a battlemage named Yarrawah Jorshamo, who posessed the powers to see through their disguise. This was a spell known as the Veil, kept inside the Veil Tomb and known only to elite members of the group now known as the Veil Mercenaries. Jorshamo did perfect a counterspell, and the Veil was eventualy driven out of the city by him and a elite group of knights, known as the Stormguard. However, by that time the Veil had far deeper roots in every town, and brought the fight to him. His forces were chased back until they took sanctuary in a long abandoned keep known as Zeus's Edge. Manageing to defend the castle from various sieges, he eventualy recruited and trained more soldiers and took control of the area around him. Their feud is still ongoing, and while the towns of Bluemyrh, New Ravenholm, Canis and Blackshire village support the Veil; Durgard, Alondus and New Airexcalibur are all under the protection of the Stormguard."

Check how much money do we still have, and go to Words of Wisdom just to look around.

(In this month I will move out again, isn't that wonderful!? (sarcasm))
@Mizar By chance, this woman is a Drow such as yourself... "Fix power cells? Impossible. If you don't know how to maintain a gun, you shouldn't be handleing one....

... But perchance my niece is a Mechanist, and she could build you some power cells for the gun in a couple of hours."

@Kiseki You meet a large canaien bare sporting a fedooa and a red caep inblazoned with the emblem of the mepool tree. He suggests that the cuer for tour condition is to condume napalm syrup.

@Scaer Not much I can say

@Ania As you somehow teleport from the arena enter the shop, you spot the owner talking with another one of the people you met back at the inn. Beyond them are rows and rows of bookcases, labled on subject, theme, style and everything you can think of.

(Pick any subject/s to search for and you'll recieve a list of books. You can read the blurb, skim them or if you really want to read them I'll sit here and write some 20 paragraphs plus.)

"Maintain? Sorry. my gun was essientialy sabotaged, so my knowledge on how to "maintain" my gun would be useless." Mizar replies back. "But i shall take up on that offer. Where does your niece reside? If necessary, i could find a sort of payment. i still need to collect from my job at the inn... " Mizar adds under his breath.

"WEIGHT A SICKENED HERE" mireacl sez to the HoBare,"canadia doesnt exist yew SCRUB!!!!!!1!" THIS HOBARE was a AFKE!

Mirclea usesed Idenfity M on teh BARE because THIS HOBARE WAS A AFKE

(I assume this is how I have to speak to do things now)
I control the grandmaster? What?

My enemy is a mage, so he shouldn't be able to take more than a few hits. First, use Flashbang. Obviously shield myself from the resulting explosion. Swap to the lance and toss it straight for his face, then while he's busy dealing with the lance/getting stabbed due to not being able to see or hear, run up to him, swap back to the shotgun, and fire when in close range.

I call this the Busou Renkin strategy. Hiding your real attack behind a fake one - twofold.

If the mage somehow is able to withstand the Flashbang, and has a spell to turn the lance back at me, be ready while approaching with Deflect and Counter Stance.

Michael: Marvel at the fighters, having given up your search for Ania.

@Mizar The drow woman beckons, walking down through an alleyway and taking a sharp left turn. At first you can't see anything, but then you spot an extremely narrow flight of stairs leading downwards that is concealed behind another railing in front of you.

Finding the whole ordeal very cloak and dagger... You stop to consider.

@Miralea Teh canadia hobnob ignares yow. It pushes ywe onto eth ground and shoevs nalpalm syrup down your thoeat.

Miracle falls unconcious.

The Grandmaster flings a grenade at the sage which explodes in a blinding light... But the sage seems unphased by it. Instantly reacting, the Sage uses an ability of his own, waving his hand in the air to summon a giant ball of ice that hurtles towards the grandmaster. However, prepared for this the grandmaster takes out his lance and bats the ball of ice back at the Sage. While the sage is distracted dodgeing, he flings the lance in the direction of the sage, causing the sage to dodge into the lance while avoiding the last attack. (90 damage) The grandmaster then grabs his shotgun from the floor and dashes into the Sage, unleashing an attack at point blank range, only to have the bullets fall to the ground without harming the grounded sage.

The mage probably has some sort of spell to attack at close range, so switch to Dodge Stance with Lightning Move as backup, swap to the Shivs, and use either Certain Death or Queen's Gambit or Multislash the moment a chance arises. Also plan to get your Lance back.

"Let's see... Mmm... oh, here is a section that interests me: Legendary Marine Creatures"
"so your neice is down here?" Mizar asks. "Perfect. ...And you'll go first, "madam" ." Mizar quickly whips behind the woman and blocks the passage exit utilizing the axe Miracle gave him to make sure she doesn't run. With the other hand, Mizar sneakily grabs a knife hidden in his cloak in case the woman tries to charge him. "now....?" Mizar beckons.
@Mizar The woman continues down the stairs without looking back. Your continue walking for a while longer down a passage, when she then stops. To your left and right are iron doors, sealed by some kind of lock. The woman is fumbleing around in her pocket for something, but can't find it.

@Ania After a long time of looking in the Non-Fiction section you only managed to find a couple of books that look like they could fit the subject.

Offical Bestiary V5: Marine Beasts: Greater Beings
Legendary Creatures
Study: The Leviathan
Study: Cerychalos
Water Elementals
Water Summoning
Greater Denizens of the Ocean
Magical Beasts
Elemental Heralds: Myth or Legend?

The Grandmaster relentlessly continues his assault, pulling out two Shivs from under his armour and Advanceing on the Sage while emenating a strange aura... Suddenly bloodied, the Grandmaster rapidly slices the Sage with his daggers as the sage watches in surprise, not given enough time to recover... 70+55+55+60+45+60+65+55+70 (470) damage.

A fireball suddenly catches the Grandmaster from behind, explodeing on contact and sending him flying into the arena wall, the combined force of the fireball and impact dealing 280 damage!

Use Queen's Gambit, then do one more assault. If it doesn't backfire, I should win. If it does backfire and I have health left, back the fuck off and do any healing possible.

Then leave the Grandmaster to the AI.
"....well?" Mizar prods the lady with his foot, making sure to keep the axe at ready.
Miracle's Grapefruit knife begins to react. A short second later, Miracle awakens, obviously not the same as before.

"Ah, not this crap again. Now I have to find my old body and get my stuff back. Once again."
Miracle(?) leaves the bazaar, and heads in the direction of the inn.
Not that I really care at this point, but what grapefruit knife?
