The Link

The Humble Indie Bundle is a unique type of bundle - It gives away a number of indie games, and you set the price, it's DRM free, cross platform and helps charity. What more could you ask for? A lot, but still.

Fieldrunners
Bit.Trip.Beat
Spacechem
Uplink

Beat the average price and you also get:

Spirits

They are also developing a android app, currently in testing. You can download the beta when you buy the bundle.

An...interesting bundle filled with pretty decent games.

Yeah uh, Crayon Physics doesn't run for me, neither does And Yet it Moves, Cogs is slow as fuck, it's about 1 frame per minute, not kidding, and Steel Storm wasn't even in my pack for some reason.

VVVVVV and Hammerfight are totally worth it, though.
I'm pretty sure Steel Storm isn't even supposed to be in the pack, considering it isn't even in the video, it's probably just some sort of seperate goodie.

Anyways, I'm really interested in this (especially VVVVVV and Crayon Physics), but I doubt my parents would pay for something like this, especially because of the "set your price" part... :/

Actually, it was added to the pack as a "celebration" that the total sales passed 1 million dollars.

Also note that much of the money is being donated, and Notch payed 4000 dollars.
Loving this. This is the first bundle I've purchased (mainly for VVVVVV), and I'm glad I did. I especially like the fact that all of the games are cross-platform (i.e., work on the "big 3" of operating systems, so to speak).

Of course-They'd only get about a third of the potential profits if they limited the bundle to Windows.

That's implying Windows wasn't the major OS.
Let's say they would have lost a part.
Well, most of the Windows users actually seem to be paying the least for the bundle, but I see what you mean.
Oh by the way, the Humble Indie Bundle 2 is now part of the Humble Indie Bundle 3; if you already bought 3 then you get 2 free, otherwise you have to pay more than the current average (of all purchases).
More games? Oh wow. I don't really know anything about any of the games in Humble Indie Bundle 2, but they're really being generous.
I knew of Braid and Revenge of the Titans. I think someone around here also has a Braid avatar.

I'm pretty sure that you can pay even $0.01, I paid $0.31 cents because paypal wasnt accepting my card and it said google checkout was accepting nothing under 0.30 because of bugs.

What a steal!

It's that I need my father's permission to buy games, but he doesn't really like buying online games on the computer (It took a bit of trouble to get him to buy me Minecraft; and he wasn't happy when I had Terraria gifted to me, which I really wasn't expecting). And the fact you can pay only a penny wouldn't help. At all.

Next, anyone who orders the bundle gets canada.
They are at $1,782,103.67 in sales now, I'm hoping they reach 2 million and then add the Humble Indie Bundle 1 for the hell of it or something.
Your own private planet!

... No.
Like I said in the "What are you playing" thread, BB bought the bundle for me and I downloaded the Linux version and beat VVVVVV last night.

It was pretty fun, but incredibly short, though I haven't 100%ed it yet.

I'm amused at the fact that Linux users donate the most for the games. I think it was like that last Humble Indie Bundle as well. I'm also surprised that there are about as many Linux users as Mac users who downloaded the bundle as well.
