I don't think I quite understand what you mean. Do you want me to change the main melody, or should the theme in the first level be replaced with something else?
I'm totally open to suggestions (though, with school and such, I might not be able to make changes as quickly).

Um...just wondering how things are going with this. Do we have any final proposals?

We had a bunch of great ones to start with, but then it just died off. SMWCP's came along a lot faster, so I'm almost shocked that this one didn't as well.
I have a feeling once I announce that all of the levels are complete, this will get more attention. For now, it's not too pressing.

Pretty sure we decided on Teyla's font (with the smokestack iirc), and I for one was waiting for Ludus to show his screen actually.

How about something SMA2-esque? Mixed with the something likethe Pokemon Platinum opening?
No, I'm not saying to have a full-out movie and implement it to two screens (common sense tells you that, but some people...)
Anywho, I am thinking of a /quick/ run through with some enemies here and there, then something negative happens, Norveg pops up. And throw in silhouettes or something of the bosses.
Or it'll take up too much space...?

Resurrecting this one since I really want to know what we're using for the final logo.
This topic appears to have died.

Probably wise to continue the title discussion here instead of the trailer thread.
On SNN's request, this is what Teyla's logo (converted to use 16 colors) would look like in action:

Graphics and stuff here. Note that I've used the ExGFX files 1A1 and 1A2 as well as some tiles on page 16, but didn't reserve either since I'm under the impression this is far from final.

It's great to see that in. The logo indeed looks awesome.

As I suggested once in the compositions thread, does anyone think it might be a good idea to compose a new title theme and use to one we currently have as an ending theme? As it stands, it doesn't really match the general mood of the hack, nor the logo seen above, though it does have a certain triumphant quality which would make it a good thing to hear after the player's final victory.

Are we still opened to the title screen picture? Because i would hava an idea, i just need to do a fast sketch, but i dunno if entries are always avaiable: i didn't see anything yet, actually.

Yes. We only have a layer 1 logo right now (as seen above), so we definitely need a layer 2 full-image to go behind it.

i thought to something like this (of course, shapes must be visible, it's not all black and the element itself must be adjusted.

Add some girders into the background and something like that might be perfect. Would you be able to draw it up in an ExGFX file or two?

Oh i'll do that directly in the ExGFX file. I would like two GFX slots, though. I'm going to signup for them.

I actually prefer Ludus' old sketch over this one, because it gives a slight preview of the games' worlds and doesn't look like it'll be too bland (I don't know what you're going to add into your version, but that sketch looks bland).

One main problem though: Ludus has enough on his plate in terms of this project and other stuff, such that I don't even think he'll find time to draw this. I'm sure Dinomar's will look less bland in color though.
...and hey, there's a suggestion for you Dinomar. Perhaps try to integrate a few more details regarding the hack's worlds into the screen too. See how that goes.

Not sure if this is the time/place to bring it up, but are we set on naming the hack "SMWCP2," then? To me, that's a bit like calling Super Mario World "Nintendo," but if we already have a logo and such...

It's a better name than ASMT and contains our name, which is probably the most important thing for such a huge collab.

Right, but I guess the way I'm thinking about it is that we could just say "SMWC Presents" and then brainstorm something else for the actual game title.

I would just add a second title, like SMWCP2: The Great Pollution" or something: it would be awesome.
Also, to make the tile screen layer 2 i would move the layer 1 two blocks above, if possible.
