Heheh. Thanks a ton for the great feedback guys. I really, really appreciate it =)
camoslash: Thank you ^^ but, i haven't used ExAnimation on any of the screenshots.
Broozer: That was a pleasant feedback to read, thank you =) And i can guarantee, that it's not 5% of the ideas I got in mind for this lit' o vanilla hack. You can wait for much more to come ^^
Wormer21: Why, thanks a ton =)
Mario's Hat: Yep, you hit right on the spot, it's the layer 3 rock tiles. Oh, And you noticed it was my 2222th post =)
Lotica: Ah, thank you too.
Well, I guess i improved tons since i made -Vanilla Rain- years ago, I can make things I never thought before now, and I'll make the possible to turn this hack in the most incredible Vanilla Hack to be released. I'll probably post 1 or 2 screenshots later on =)

As pretty much everyone has already said, that is some extremely impressive work, especially since it's vanilla.
You have to have quite a bit of creativity to even think of using those rocks as a water overlay ;D

It don't work, in fact, the Yoshi House's birds will probably carry the flashlight. This screenshot was just a WIP.

Hello everyone! Instead of making a typical island themed overworld, I challenged myself and made a mountain themed one. Check it out and let me know what you think!

This next one is the same thing except with paths:

The last level is Castle #5.
Note that I haven't done any events yet; I don't plan on doing them anyway.
Since I was used to stuff being shown off on Hack Discussion I accidentally put this there first.

Whoa that's a really good overworld, I like it a lot but has some perspective errors:

Apart of that, it's amazing! good job Kimimaru!
Eh.. I post this here too:

Thanks for the feedback!
I like your level, but I feel those blocks at 1:41 were placed a little too high. I suggest moving them down a bit.
Also for the lava pit at 2:47, I suggest using a moving platform so it's easier to see what you have to jump on. At first I thought you had to spin jump on the Blarggs to make it across.
I also think you put the midway point in a pretty strange spot. Is there a way for you to put it in the spot you are at 1:50? I know how annoying midway points can be in SMW so if you can't do it it's fine.
Great job on the level; the overall design is very good and it really gives off a dark, gloomy, abandoned feel, but unfortunately I don't think it looks quite like a mineshaft yet. Do you have any plans for using other graphics?

It looked funny how the fish jumped in 1:58 . Looks really nice. I agree about the lava near the end. It's a bit confusing and it looks odd when Mario can walk on lava. Othwerise is really good.

For a thing. This can pretty much be considered practice though.

Video
This will be the cutscene format for my other hack (The Lost Cookie). It's actually really simple, just some layer 2 magic. Enjoy!

@MarioStarLuigi
It has a nice look to it (I especially like the text) but it scrolls way too slow, impatient people would probably get irritated.

MarioStarLuigi-
... Honestly, I don't really like to have to read cutscenes at a set pace, use a VWF thingy instead or something.

@MSL: Yeah, I wouldn't be able to bare that lol. Looks like a great idea, but speeding it up would be great too =) Also Does it allow you to skip it? If not, that is something that would really set me off the edge lol.

Yeah, it can be skipped. I'll speed it up though, thanks for the advice.

As everybody said, it should be faster, but very cool concept there!
