Dakress that level looks really cool! I love the BG and the palette. Nice work on all of that Must have taken some time.
So anyway I've been practicing my level design and decoration skills A LOT and I think I'm finally ready to show what I've been working on since I cancelled Waff's Journey. This is my new hack entitled "Feel Good!" which I'm planning on only designing about 5 or 6 levels for.
-I'm aware of the cut off tile at 1:35. It has been fixed-
Hope you enjoy the video!

@Jonny: Level design wise I think that looks pretty good, the graphics and palettes look great. I think that custom music would suit the level a bit better though. Nice job though.
@GvS: That looks great so far, keep it up .
@Neutron: Aside from what you mentioned already, I think that looks like a great level. I like the fg and bg graphics used from about 1:39 in the video especially.

@GeorgeVsSonic: Woah, it's great! I love the tileset, and this level just itself inspirates me a lot for making a level. It looks really fun, and I just want to open LM and start making a level when I see it, but I must make that annoying OW map.

What's up guys.

That's my WIP semi-vanilla level. Yeah, its level design is based on SMW. And no, the most probably is I won't edit the palettes there. So, is it looking fine?

That looks pretty good Austin! Especially since you're keeping almost everything vanilla...even the palettes.

That looks pretty solid indeed. Not only have you managed to implement a very SMW-esque look into that level by using unmodified palettes, but the layout itself is built in a very similar way to what a typical SMW level would look like. I can even get a tiny bit of nostalgia from that screen.
Good job!

The level looks ok but I really don't like the way you've taken the lazy method of removing pipe cutoff. I'd recommend restoring the pipes to normal (since that thick stuff looks weird anyway) and putting in corner tiles where you have not.
E: Same goes with the cement blocks. They seem very lazily done.

Finally i see something of decent without seeing super small space where mario cannot walk into. I approve this!

That level looks really good. It looks like an actual SMW level Nintendo would've made.

Neutron: Thanks.
Your level looks really nicely designed and I love the sewer area! Really creative. The music also fits in well! ;D
Mr ESC: Thanks! .
Teo: Haha, thanks man! Can't you like, go in and design a level first, then finish the incredibly epic overworld? =P
Austin: meh, I completely agree with MVS. Those pipe cutoffs and cement blocks really don't look well. The level design looks alright so far though.

Thanks guys! Also I like these square pipes and cement blocks, and this fixes some cutoffs through my levels. I think I won't remove it, I can at least edit the cement blocks to make it look better. Yeah.

Lynnes: I'm really liking that overworld. It seems great. The paths seem a bit basic, but I suppose that's how paths are.
I know it'll be great when it's finished!

Lynnes: AMAZING overworld! The palettes look great and I love how the upper left looks as if it's flooded.

You're one of the very few people who can pull of dull palettes in smw. Most others can't.
Anyways, sweet overworld!
