@Lynnes: Wow, your OW is very nice but the sea near Mario's location looks a bit strange (from a perspective view).

Your OW there is really amazing! Man, those palettes and decorations... just keep building it!
Also, for some reason that OW really reminds me of an OW pic I saved a looooong time ago, I can't even remeber who made it.

NOT MY WORK

@Lyness That overworld is looking great. I love those palettes and the design of it is very appealing. The colors add a very dismal mood which is cool and original. Aside from what Discoman pointed out this is great.

This could be why, it was made by Lynnes (and I don't know why I took the time to find that post).
Anyway love the overworld and it's definitely looking better then the one it's based on

First Screen
Looks great :3
Like the palette.
Second Screen
Looks very good to but the bg needs a palette that fits with the fg ;D

@Austin: Level 110: This level is square and very linear even if it's a maze, you need to use variable terrain instead of big blocks.
Level 1FE: This level is well designed but there's some blocks that I didn't like, like the cement blocks.
EDIT: Level Up!

@Austin: level 110 looks pretty good, it seems like quite an interesting maze section. The palettes are good too.
Level 1FE however looks great overall . I think the bg palette could be changed to fit the fg a bit more though.

My only suggestion is to make the black part of the bricks a little bright-purple, then it's overall ok!

I'm making a level that it'll introduce Hammer Brothers in my hack. It still is very WIP, needs some enemies and decoration.
Level.
What do you think?

@Lunatic Wolf
Looks like SMW style.

@ Lunatic Wolf: I'm liking it so far; it reminds me a bit of the level design from the original SMW. From what I can see, you can get stuck in that little pocket with the Dragon Coin. On screen 07, it looks like cut-off but I think that's just the screen border hiding things under it.
@ Neutron: It looks like it's possible to get stuck at 0:44 if you don't have a Fire Flower to melt the ice. At 0:49, you should move the Dry Bones a bit further back so that it doesn't fall off the ledge immediately. At 1:42, you may want to change the area slightly so that the Dry Bones isn't affected by the Layer 2. Other than that, it's a really nice and simple castle perfect for the beginning of the game.
I don't really post in this thread unless I have something to show, so:

Hey, nice work Systemkrash! I think the music fits and your level design works nice around the Lakitu instead of the Lakitu working around the level. Which in my opinion is how it should be. Keep it up

@Lunatic Wolf: the "where are the enemies" thing, or you probably didn't placed them yet. Also it will looks more SMW if you put some holes in it.
@SyStemkrAsh: awesome stuff! Lakitu and ice looks a creative combo. About the BG color, I think if you make it brighter, it will give a good feeling with the music.
