As I've said, I am only turning SMWCP2 Mario into Luigi. Credit goes to foop, the the one created the Mario graphics.

Thanks! Although, I did have to improve some things...
Originally posted by The Oncoming StormLuigi seems to be only 1px taller than Mario, 2px would be better IMO. But it's up to you.
I actually asked if he should be taller in the SMWCP2 forums - but no really complained about it. Well, I actually thinks it looks good now...so..
Originally posted by xlkSo far, the luigi gfx seem to be going pretty well, only nitpick, is that instead of diagonal pixel lines, they go in zig-zags in some areas.Either some dark tone for the corners(like on the hands) or remove the corners, as thick lines don't look too good IMO.
I won't darken the hands, since it's the same hand used in Mario. I'll also won't take out cornoers, since it is how Mario is made. But I'll see what I can do...

Alright, so its been awhile since I've updated, so here's a preview of a desert tileset I'm making for my hack.

I'm planning on making cacti or other decorations, any ideas?
Edit; Also, the background's only blank for the time being, I'm thinking of one I can make as I type.

Scorpion: looking great! The level looks really fun to play, and that's what counts. Although it does look a very little bit crowded here and there, but that's not a problem.
Neutron: nice level you got there. The atmosphere and palettes look great and the level seems quite nicely designed. My only complaint would be that some areas look a tad empty. But that only adds in more mystery to the level, if you ask me.
Also, jimbo1qaz, tile 9F is the right tile for a hill, and 19A is the bottom left tile of a fortress. I don't know what you're trying to say, bro.

Just some more NSMB rips - what I feel are the best ones I've done to this date.

Woah, MSA, those look incredibly nice! Totally loving the cloud BG, even if it uses 3 slots, I'd still totally use it. Great rip. :3

I'm working on fully ripping all the Graphics from the Philips CD-I thing called Mario's Wacky World (Not to be confused of the hack of the same name.) I've so far ripped all the Koopas, and the Walrus (I've mapped the Walrus to the Dino Rhino stuff, but I'm having trouble with the flame palettes).
Anyway for now I've got this:
It's the Pyramid tileset from Wacky World. As of now, the large statue from it is not included due to the amount of tiles it takes up (at least two GFX files). The shading may look kind of off due to how the original tiles seemed to use more colors then SMW is capable of, and the image optimizer I used sometimes uses kind of iffy stuff. Also included is a Pokey based off of the Paper Mario ones, from of SpritersResource.
The igloo tileset. Kind of flawed, however, as the original tilesets did not have a top to the igloo. Shame. Also say hello to a kind of beta form of the Winter Koopa. I`d love opinions in any form of the word on it.
I have a couple more tilesets to do, and I might have them done by then end of the day if procrastination doesn`t get to me, as the other tilesets aren`t as complicated.

-cutoff:
*on chains
*transition from the wall texture to the border
-too much contrast on the pilars.
So far, thats all

Actually, if you look really closely, there's a thin black line separating the end of the chain to nothingness. ...unless there's different cutoff on the chain I'm not seeing.

This'll be the last Wacky World upload I do (for now), as a lot of them don't seem to be turning out too well.
The Wood tileset, which is I think the fullest tileset Wacky World had. It's probably my favorite of all the things I've ripped so far. Except for one other thing I'll show at the end of this post. Ignore the key door, as I just took this snapshot straight from my game I'm working on.
I was hesitant on showing this one. It won't be released because the pillars did not turn out well. I'm mainly showing this off for the nifty little Koopa.
Here it comes...
LUIGI! RUN!
yeah this was a hassle to rip. A BIG hassle. In fact, this takes up one space of FG1, all of FG2, all of FG3 and all of BG1, BG2, and BG3. Meaning that I could only use blocks or stones for a ground and stuff, plus it uses Layer 2 meaning I do not have a background (I could do a custom Layer 3 background though).
However, I'll be using it in a castle (in fact it's one of the bosses), and I'll just use the YI stone FG and the castle layer 3 background. I'll probably touch up the GFX so it isn't so gritty-looking. All comments/criticism welcome.
And here's a picture of it's Map16 file:

Jesus tits, that banzai ultra mega whatever bill is amazing. Smart level concept. I might have to do something similar.
