Pokey... SMWC... That'd be a Muncher, but Pokeys aren't Koopas. And Munchers aren't sprites. I need to start reading the entire post before posting.
Maybe it's Yoshi (obscure WhiteYoshiEgg reference) or something.
Are you sure this one is medium difficulty?

I have 3 guesses: Sliding Koopa, Super Koopa with a Feather or the Koopa Kids. I'm unsure what to choose.

Okay, now I got my FG to work on.
I don't know why some say Yoshi. For starters, Yoshi is a dino. Secondly, if you think Yoshi is a koopa, it would be invalid because the point of view is twoards the mistery person, not the koopa.
I'm thinking the master mentioned in the riddle is Bowser, so could it be Bowser Junior?

Another counterexample it can't be Yoshi is that Yoshi doesn't with "the master" (or what you think is Mario) everywhere, only on some occastions.
and I do now think it could be the kooplings, however Bloop called it first.
