I've grown to just ignore his constant SPC postings. I'd recommend you all do the same if you find him annoying. Yes CY he's been hanging by a thread for a while now and he knows this. If he continues the charade though we will take action.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 - Mystic Cave Zone

Currently VERY beta-like. I want to maybe lower those @6es by an octave (I'm not sure, I guess I'll act on that based on comments I recieve). Also the flute at the end is currently notationally arranged instead of controlled by pitch bend. I'll get round to the pitch bend eventually, for now though, I have it notationally there for my benifit when I decide to do it. ADSR and such also needs to be added. It's not nice hearing that flute fade. But it's 1am and I have work tomorrow so it's sleep time.
It's not dead

yaaawn That was that kind of composition of mine, that I posted some time ago in the SMWCP2 forum.
It's a very big WIP right now, as I still need to do a lot of work with this, such as optimizing a few pitch slides and get some better vibratos or something (oh and finishing it)
Note that from 00:50 should start garbage (I'm tired :O), you're warned.

Comments? Complaints? Suggestions?
Do I hear James Bond reference? O.o

I'm loving that melody at 0:18 as well as that (is that a fireball sound?) sound.

0:37 sounds a tad off to me, it could be the volume though.

I'm so glad you are working on this again, amazing job so far man!

I'm liking the sound of this so far. I can't wait to hear it when the pitch bends and ADSR are added. The only other problems I can hear are that the percussion seems too weak and the @14 seems a bit too quiet. I recommend changing the @10s to @29. Sonic music, particularly from the first two Genesis/MegaDrive games, is known for having some strong percussion.
Romancing SaGa 3 - The Last Battle

After one month of work, it's finally done... This is probably my best port so far. Feedback would REALLY be appreciated :3

Anyway AWESOME PORT MAN!!!!!!!!!
Alec's Log House
Mother 3 #w{<3}

By the way, thanks to Slash Man for telling me how to split channels since the freaking guitar channel had like 4 chores playing at once in it.

original
GS Mikami - Haunted Shopping Mall

Oh god... this port is a pain, I still need to fix some minor things with the samples and I'm done. What do you think so far?

@Maxodex: This is a nice vanilla port. It gives really a nice outfeel. Can't wait for release!

@Masterlink: Ummm... I love this! I dislike any songs that sounds like space, but this one gives a great outfeel. Also some notes seems to be offkey.

Let's party everyday, like a gentelman!

I guess this turned out pretty well, and it sounds catchy.
It's fuckin' nothing, but please, comment!

EDIT: Fixed the song. There was a one r16 which should be r8. Also added panning and percussion.

That sounds pretty nice, and REALLY nice compared by your other ports. You should add some extra things to the drums at the time where the chords repeat. For some reason I don't believe it's yours
Thanks Bloop! Also I forgot to tell that the @13 is inspired by One day funky remix's chord.
That sounds like the start of a very nice song, Luigi. All it needs is a melody.
I made an intro: Intro

But I need a help with which channel should I replace with a melody? I'm asking because everyone is used.

This is the Final Product

I can't make good melody, but I added a pseudo @9 melody on channel #4. What do you think guys?

Oh, it's a pretty good song.
You definitely have to remove that ADSR and replace it with a more piano like one.
I recommend removing channel 3(#2) or 4(#3) not both of them though, 'cause the chord won't be complete then!
To make a melody, well, grab a piano (or something piano-like if you don't have one) and within the chord, 1 or 2 octaves higher, you can make your melody out of the notes from the chords you're using at that moment, it's not wrong if you go outside the chord to avoid the song getting repetive.
Well, those are my tips then.
-----------------------------
Maxodex: I like it, the bass is a tad soft in my appearance though. You might consider adding another channel to complete the guitar-chord.
Masterlink: This one sounds well, you must fix some tunings, like you stated yourself, though.

EDIT: Ugh... Luigi370, that jut ruins the whole song! Blegh!

Can you pass me the .txt of the song? I think I can make a melody for you, because this one isn't that, eh, great.

EDIT: And why didn't you used your old instruments, notes and ADSR for the chords? That sounded better then this.

I don't need it now. It took me few hours to make a melody with inspiration. (It's very short, but it's definietly MY BEST COMPOSITION/REMIX)
One Day - Short SMW Remix
How is that, guys?

Whoa whoa whoa this sounds simply superb, Lui37! Loving the fantastic energy and Castlevania-ish melodies (at least they remind me of a bit Castlevania). I agree with Slash though, a few notes around 0:37 sound a bit weird, but not a big deal after all. Keep up the great work.

The chorus parts sound a bit different from the original for me (kind of like too "snappish" or strong) but it's an amazing port nonetheless, unde! I guess RS3 songs can be even meaner when it comes to porting, so it's a really great work you've done here.

Nice, I really like the flute, the little wood block sounds are pretty great too. Would be good for a Yoshi House or something calm, I guess.

Ah, a sampled port of this song, very nice! #6 sounds pretty detuned, though, but other than that it's just like the original. Great work! (and I can understand it was a pain to work with it, I actually tried once to port this just for the lulz)

Hey, I recognize this song from the "Cool Stuff" folder in FL Studio! The interesting thing that this was actually composed by a Hungarian dude :) Also, the port itself sounds pretty cool and smooth, honestly, it's much, much better than all of your previous attempts at porting, Luigi370. I sincerely hope you'll keep up this way of porting!

By the way, if anyone's interested, here's the original song.
Final Version?

It's finished now, I guess :P

Edit: Also, thanks for the feedback :)
