I apologize for holding up the results, I've been quite busy and I accidentally my hard drive, but unlike everyone else to whom this happens, I actually had a backup and was able to fix it. (Specifics: I restored my computer from a system image to try to fix an unrelated problem, and forgot that my hard drive was encrypted. I then spent ~20 hours decrypting the hard drive, which only scrambled the data because it was already decrypted)

Details regarding the collab are on hold, but may be discussed here. I also highly encourage going through my results to locate any possible errors I have made. I've double checked, shouldn't be a problem. I also note the errors that the other judges made, coincidentally two judges messed up the total allocated points for Lake Eerie, I and reduced/increased the score based on the ratio. Addition errors by judges have also been noted.

3rd Kaizo Contest Detailed Judging, Results, and Entries Compilation (7z)
(zip)

A big thanks to our judges who completed the work for making these results possible and comprehensive.

Also, as I will not be playing through the levels but will need to know specific details such as how level resources are to be put together, I would appreciate if any TASes of the levels could be linked here. Thank you.

(You guys should totally press people with good levels who chose not to be in the collab to change their mind

really? last place? really?

I mean I didn't expect to do very well, but COME ON!
Umm, I entered the collab. Anyway, congrats 2dareduck and kaizokoban! I knew mine would be low, for it was easily (I didn't see it until now...) breakable, and lacked in difficulty.

Check the detailed results and judgings, entries also needed to be approved by a majority of the judges to be accepted into the collab. Sadly, out of the ones that were proposed, only a total of 6 actually made it...

EDIT: However, if the specific issues that led to rejection were fixed (as they can be updated freely outside of the contest) and approved by one (or two) of the judges (or maybe host...) who originally declined it, it can then be accepted.

Congrats to Kaizokoban.

Congrats to you!
Congrats to Kaizokoban as well.
Well usually when I make kaizo hacks I make them one or two levels... and believe me I could have made this much harder... why I didn't I have no idea. I still did better than I thought though 0.o
Now I'm not sure whether or not I want to include my level as a brutal bonus level in Hertz Donut. I'm not sure what people would think of the same level being in two different hacks. Also, I think I like the name 'Phanto Pain' better. 'I hate masks' is almost painful to say, and yet it's a fitting title as well.
Hot Hot Panic Lazy TAS
Hooked on Quack Lazy TAS
Ice Cold Kaizo Lazy TAS

Also Laularu wasn't your submission the one where the first sublevel's layer 2 was fucked up and didnt appear. If so, I think that's why.
@Kaizokoban: I personally rather liked the title of 'I Hate Masks'.
Also the weight of the judging should really, REALLY be thought over. The current judging favors looks and playability over creativity and difficulty...

Ice Cold Kaizo TAW
TheHAZE TAW
Flaming Fortress TAW
I Hate Masks TAW
Tunnel of Fortitude TAW
HOT HOT PANIC TAW
Hypocritical TAW
The Plan Big Boo TAW
Hornet Castle TAW

Also I would like to point out that PangaeaPanga's points do not add up to what they claim to be. If you look at the detailed points given for e.g. Hooked on Quack they do not add up to 48 as stated but rather to 46. I haven't checked any other levels yet but I'll go over that soon.

Edit:

That only goes up to 10!!!
Ice Cold Kaizo - TheOtherGuy25 adds up to 33, not 32.
Other than the abovementioned Panga's judging seems to match what was requested, but I'd appreciate it if someone else could check this.

MockinGod's judging:
== Lake Eerie - cousinoer5 - Difficulty ==
Adds up to 27, not 22
Other than that the judging seems fine.

On another note I'd like to know how the final scores were determined. In the file downloadable are only the judging results from three judges, and the shown scores don't seems to be the unweighted average of those three results. What am I missing?

Wait, second place? How is it possible? This is totally unexpected. I thought my level was bad.
But of course I'm very happy to get the second place (in the creative category).
I don't think I said that before, but for people who want to see my level and how to finish it, here is a video.

Yeah, I've tried my hardest to make the points in the judgings fair but also comprehensive. I believe I've asked a few times for improvements before the contest started, but nothing happened.

Yes, this and other addition errors were checked for, noticed, and corrected in the Detailed Results tab of !Judging Data.xls.

Yes, so I took the ratio of 11/15 and applied it to a max of 10.
The Ice Cold Kaizo error was also noticed.

Yes, but he also gave Difficulty a max of 10 instead of 15, so I corrected it. This was noted in the Results post, "coincidentally two judges messed up the total allocated points for Lake Eerie, and I reduced/increased the score based on the ratio".

I do not know what you mean? I simply took the sum of the three judges scores and divided by three, hence how the only fractions are thirds.
Ah it seems I took the incorrected sum to test the combining of scores.
It seems that all other things were actually corrected for the final results. Nice!
Congratulations to all the winners! You did great!

Yeah, it was, and I have no idea how that happened or how to fix it. It isn't like that in the hack it was taken from <_<

However, most of the points I got deducted were not actually from that goof. Apparently it was "an overall shitty level" in terms of playability. I'm gonna redo the entire level from scratch and resubmit, if that's okay.
As long as it is still the same level, yes. It'd then be a contest entry that has been redesigned, as opposed to an entirely new level.
3rd Place? Alright!

Congrats to all the winners! I gotta check out some of these other levels......or at least try to (goes to youtube to watch all the TAS's) #w{=P}
The scores weren't as high as last year..
Gratz to both of the winners! I will probably tas them and post the vids here when im done, unless either of you dont want them tased...
Go ahead, though I don't know how entertaining mine would be to TAS since it's a line guide stage. I guess doing some funky stuff with the keys like in Living on the Edge.
My entry wasn't so bad, but if I could, I would have fixed the Yoshi break.
Also, congratulations 2dareduck and Sokobansolver!
