I am reviving a riddle thread! (has approval.)
Riddle answers shall earn users 1 point.
Any riddle that remains unanswered for 3 days shall be given another clue.
There will generally be one to three questions available.
1) Different shapes and sizes,
Different colors may I be.
After I am put to use,
A mountain you will see.
What am I?
2) Like many objects that exist,
An inside/outside I have.
Before you indulge in my tasty treat,
Don't rip, just halve.
What am I?

Riddles feel a little vauge so I guess I'll guess.
1) Clothes? I know that's wrong.
2) Egg? Again, still no idea.

Nope sorry, think harder ;)
For 1, think what "mountain" can represent.
For 2, think of the difference of ripping and halving. Or something. XD

I diiid.
Mountain is the description for a pile of unwashed clothes.
You can't rip an egg.

Oh well. It was about time it got revived. I might add a riddle or two to the collection.
For #2: An orange?

Phenolatukas, good logic, but sorry, just not the right answer ;)
AnybodyAgrees, not quite. For 2, think of a more definite inside and oustide.

2 is an Oreo.
If you put the parts of in Oreo in the context of the riddle, it makes sense.

For 1, I am probably wrong, but is it a rake? I have seen come in many different sizes and colors before, and after you finish using it (raking up all of the leaves), there will be a mountain (of leaves). I think.

Very good logic guys, I realize the clues were a bit... general. I make sure that next time I'll try to make it more specific. The only reason they were so vague is that otherwise it'd be too easy...
Tomorrow is the 3rd day, so I'll add another clue to both riddles. (An oreo, and a rake are not the right answers. Good job though, very well thought out.)

Following the same logic, it could be a snow shovel or a snow blower.
For the second one, it has to be layered, since it has an inside and outside. But what do you halve that is edible, and probably a dessert? Hmm... that one is tough.

Ah, not quite. Think of what shape a mountain is. Maybe not just a pile of something, but the shape.
And for the 2nd riddle, think of a food with definite halves.

Is #1 a tent, perchance? A tent can be a wide variety of sizes and shapes, and when they are put up, they look like mountains.

Nice try all, but still not right ;)
Alright here's some clues.
Hint for 1
From a frontal point of view,
You'll see a hole or two.
I may be powered manually,
or with electricity too.
What am I?
Hint for 2
A brownish little foolish thing,
Growing not so under the sun.
And you know what they say,
Two heads are better than one.
(these hints are added on to the original riddles. So they still represent the same answer.)

Riddle 2 is a peanut. There are two nuts inside the shell, to get to the nuts, you have to halve it... and they grow underground!
For the first riddle, I am still stumped.

Correct!
Also, by foolish, I meant they were "nutty". Get it? XD

Eek my 1st semester for gr 11 looks incredibly difficult...
Anyhow.
2nd Hint for #1
An input and an output,
With a blade to slice.
After my work is done,
Shavings smaller than rice.
What am I?
(this hopefully is easy enough?)

I want to say a razor blade...
Also, my first semester of grade 11 looks difficult, too.

HOORAY Jorshamo is right.
How's your semester Chanagaburu?
Anyhow, 3rd and 4th riddles...
4) Filled with layers,
I'm happy and sad.
Different sizes,
My marks aren't bad.
What am I?
(This one is pretty challenging! Wow)
And 5.
5) Different shapes and different sizes,
I'm generally filled with envy.
But when it gets colder,
I get mad, or angry.
What am I?
(wow these are tough... lol)

Any guesses? D:
Here's a hint. For each adjective, think of any synonyms that could mean something else.
