Fatal Stage Accident blamed on Piracy

A storm happened on a music festival, causing the deaths of a few people. It was blamed on illegal music sharing. They say that as it increases, artists rely on On-Stage preformances to get money, making the damage more severe.

It reads like a damn Onion article.

Let me get this straight. Because people are pirating music, that means musicians are going to make more concerts to make up for their loss. Thus, more people will be in a concert, so that disasters can become even more fatal.

Did the people who built the stage that failed write this?!

Well, I was making a joke about passing the buck onto an entirely irrelevant group to avoid blame. It's not like the whole thing can get less ridiculous with a conspiracy in place.
Oh you have got to be kidding me.
Pirating is now DANGEROUS, and actually KILLS PEOPLE?!

Pirating.... hmm... I think they think that pirating means acting like pirates.
Technically it's true, just far-fetched. It's like saying me tapping someone on the shoulder and taken their attention away from a game, hence making them miss something important, makes them rage, gets them in a frenzy outside the stadium which leads to them drinking alcohol and walking on train tracks then getting run over is my fault for tapping him on the shoulder.

It's poor architecture, but the reliance on stage music still is kind of valid since it's the only way artists can get money. I mean, what other incentive do we have to see famous artists on stage other than the fact it's live? If, say, they were playing behind a brick wall, no one would go because they're not seeing them in flesh. Since everyone is pirating music everywhere ... well, yeah.
Oh no... I caused this, it's all my fault
This is the funniest "news" i've ever seen. Really.
And in response, Youtube has announced that all music videos will be blocked in the three most pirate-filled countries: Australia, Norway and Pakistan. /Sarcasm

Seriously, blame it on the engineers for once (Who did they blame for the Westgate Bridge collapse?)
excuse me for a second...

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

...ahem

So personally, i think that is just plain BULLCRAP, and some morons trying to shift the blame on an kind-of-innocent party.

...bullcrap i say

Obviously, the person to blame in this case is whoever sold the cars. If none of the cars were sold, the amount of people on the bridge, and the amount of people who died, would be a lot lower.
It's amazing what passes as "fit to print" these days. Then again, the article is online, but still...

Are news people really that stretched for decent stories? Really?

Actually, a section fell while it was being built. Plus that was a rhetorical question.

And I thought that it was clear that I was being sarcastic in my post.

Well, that was the only way they made money anyways. The only one who makes any real money from record sales is the record companies. I haven't seen any studies that show live shows have become more prominent.

Well, if they're a decent band, what they play live will sound different from the recorded version. For instance, the recorded version of "New born" by Muse has a tremolo picked solo, but live he usually plays it as a tapping solo. Basically it's new versions of the same song, and people listen to those all the time.
It wasn't piracy. It was a tiny little butterfly, flapping it's wings somewhere on Earth. The wings then caused tiny little winds, pushing papers in street in various directions. These tiny waves build up to hurricane force winds, colliding with each other, enough to launch large lightning bolts around the stage.

Damn that butterfly.
