Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.

ok so ZSNES is pissing me off royally.. everytime i SS and go to load it freezes.. is there anyway around that..? or is it just some glitch/bug?

Judging from context, he probably means Save State.

Maybe the directory in which your ROM is in has a weird name or something. Try moving the ROM to another directory and savestate/load state there, see if it works. (though zsnes might already support weird directory names, in which case I have no idea what's going on :< )

yes save state.. im trying out the haunted xmas rom cause its colorful and i like winter.. it doesn't run correctly on snes9x only on zsnes and i did try moving it to a different directory i think its the emulator in general cause it has done it on different roms..
