| Tip: Unless you've disabled the bonus game, don't use a goal tape in a vertical level. The bonus game won't appear if a player happens to reach 100 bonus stars there. |

Super Endoplasm World is the hack I've been working on since I know about LM (so about 1 1/2 years), which technically makes it my very first hack. I actually didn't want to make a thread for this before being done with World 2, since World 1 is for the most part from a time where I was still relatively new to LM and it may give an incorrect first impression of this hack, but since it'll probably still take me forever to finish World 2, I decided I might as well make this thread now.
Anyway, this hack doesn't have a real storyline (it doesn't have an unreal either), since this is more like a collection of random levels I made, so a story would not really fit in my opinion (plus I couldn't think of one =P).
The main inspiration for this hack is the Vip and Wall Mix series, which also inspired me to try to replace all the enemy graphics.
This hack is supposed to have 5 worlds, a star world and a special world, once it's finished, while I have only completed World 1 yet, I have actually made or started levels from most of the worlds.

I love your style of GFX! I really like it when people replace the sprites with their own characters, makes the hack feel more original I think. Infact...this hack kind of reminds me of the one I happen to be working on (wow that sounded bad). Anyway, keep up the good work the levels look good too.

It looks great. It has custom GFX, and few of the hackers use custom GFX (ExGFX doesn't count so much).

Thanks for the positive feedback, hotsos120 and l30n4rd0! (I know, somewhat late, but I didn't want to post here without having any kind of update.)
Anyway, here's another level. It's not like the level is all that new, it's actually already a few months old, but I didn't want to show it in the first post because it might have given a rather bad first impression of this hack. The level is from the star world, which will contain some levels that I probably couldn't get away with if they were in a real world (such as this). The level is called "Munchers.", so you can probably guess what it's all about. (Also please watch until the second half of the level, as the first might be a little boring to watch.) It'll be one of world 4's star world levels by the way.

Really liking the enemy replacements you have made. There quite cute :3
Anyway the muncher run level seems pretty good and has a nice sense of "panic" to it, seeing as your not just running constantly over a straight line of them. Nice work!

Dang it 1updudes beat me to the comment
I've actually been looking forward to more progress! I, personally, am not a fan of muncher runs...they always seemed kind of cheap to me. But the level design for it isn't bad. Only one thing really bothered me here: The Yoshi jump near the beinning. Its seems kind of blind because you don't know where the star is going to be and killing yoshi is just mean D:
This level overall is not bad! I liked the multi-colored Munchers and the giant ones. Still looking good, keep it up.

Well yeah, the Yoshi jump is pretty much blind, but whenever I tried it I landed right in the star without even aiming for it. Might be because I made the level, though, so I'll see if I can make it a little more obvious.

If I recall correctly, the actual reason why I put Reznors throughout the entire level is that I shortly before found out how to use the 8x8 Tile Editor (beforehand I just assumed it was useless and a leftover from a time where there was no 16x16 Editor) and because I always find it awesome when I find out about a new feature of LM, I obviously had to use it somewhere. I also felt that Reznors would fit the theme of a haunted forest. So yes, you could pretty much call it random. =P
Also, I just felt like saying that I probably won't update this thread anymore until I have the first half of world 2 done (world 2 will consist out of two seperate halves), because... well, I don't have anything to update with and posting videos of all the levels seems like a pretty bad idea to me if I actually want people to play this.

I have to say I really like your graphical style. You do a fine job of combining tilesets from different games and making them fit the feel of your hack and its characters. All of the enemy sprites that you've made are really cute and fun. Keep up the good work!

If anyone still remembers this hack and thought it was kinda dead, then he/she would be right. But because I didn't want it to go to waste I decided to make a demo which includes almost all of the levels I finished so far, and it got accepted, so yay. You can now download it here.
Just for the record, though, this hack isn't really cancelled or anything, it's just that I don't feel like hacking SMW at all anymore. Should I ever feel like it again, I'll probably continue this hack instead of starting a new one.
That is all.
