Oh no, I lost the hack =/ Why did I had to switch PCs?
Well, decided to restart it. It's not gonna have the 'vanilla' feel more, so sorry for who liked it. So, here's the video of the new second level anyway:
Yep, it's here, that text is a link
I hope you enjoy it!
I really like that you used carrot lifts here. I don't see them too much in hacks. Also the design looks also pretty nice.
Too bad you lost your progress, I really liked it.
But yeah, vanilla, chocolate, cookie, donut, valley, illusion, soda or wathever, your level design is always cool!
Also I like the palettes and how you used the decorations.
Aw man, that always sucks when you lose something you worked hard on. #w{=(}

However, this new level looks great. I'm loving the graphics and the palettes and the design looks fantastic. Also, it's nice to see the Carrot Lifts being used. I haven't seen these used in many hacks and the original SMW didn't use them that often either.

^This Very much.

Sorry to hear that you lost the hack. It's great that your still working on it though.

As for the level, I really like it; very great use of the carrot lifts in such. (Awesome decoration as well).
Looking fine! This has alot of potential.
Great level! Too bad you lost the original hack. Way to move on and keep working on it though #w{=)}
*retires dust from thread*
Well, lost everything fridgin' again. And started again everything fridgin' again.
Now I will (probably) change the story and the name. You can say it will be a new hack. I still don't have the story or the name, but for now I'm calling it 'Sugarcoated Banana'. Well, I have some screens from a level I just finished:

Comments or questions? Post it here!
First off, wow. This hack. You have a great sense of style! The SMW esque graphics with your own twist give off a great vibe. A very Mario vibe. These are the kind of hacks I want to see! Your levels also look varied and interesting to explore.

This is the first time in a while I've looked forward to playing a hack. Keep up the good work! Oh, and don't lose it again! The fact you've restarted twice gives me great hope to your dedication.

Seriously that really sucks =/

Anyways, man each time you have restarted, your work get's even greater. This seriously looks amazing; it's well decorated the palettes are great and the level is looking amazing.

keep up the great work.
I'm really the style of your levels. They look pretty much amazing and the palettes are also very nice. The design is great and it looks like this hack will look pretty greatly. I also like how you decorate the levels.
If you don't keep doing this, i'll kill you: everyone wo makes a good hack makes it cancelled: don't do the same mistake! Very good work!
You lost it all again?!?

I really like the level. The mixed tilesets look good, the design is great and your palettes are pretty much perfect. I really liked the way it was going :(

But this is just as good and hopefully you can hold on to it this time :)
Man, don't these new screenshots look eye-candy... that new level is certainly shaping up really nicely - got to love how bright and cheery it looks. The background palette especially looks very unique, in the sense that I don't ever recall seeing someone come up with a color selection such as that for that BG. Something I would suggest doing just to complement it aesthetically, though, would be making usage of a gradient HDMA effect or even some fake HDMA just so the sky doesn't look so bland.

Other than that, though, that's some impressive work right there. I wasn't really following your previous updates on this hack (or, rather, the one that you apparently lost, since, from what I noticed, this one is not meant to be a remake of it), but I might actually give this thread a bit more of attention now.
one question: on level 3, why is mario golden?
Thanks everyone!

Yoshi Master: Thanks! I'm glad you like my hacking style.
Evilguy: Thanks!
Wormer: Thanks! (how many times I will say the same thing lol) I try to not decorrate my levels too much, but I never let them bland also. And I like to edit decor from other Mario games to fit my style and use them.
Dinomar: I'll try not to cancel it lol. Thanks!
Jonny: I'll try not to lose it again haha. Thanks! (I really don't know wat more to say)
Broozer: Glad you like it. I'll try to insert some real HDMA before the C3 demo (yep, C3 demo).
Adam the Dog: It's the new Fire Mario pallete. It's temporary though, as is Mario's GFX.
Level 2 in progress. I'll post some screens when I finish it.

Hey look, I got a video!
It looks great! The music seems to fit well.
Oh! That's why. Cool Palette for that. By the way, how do you get a background??????? Nice video! #w{=D}
I like how you made an SMB3-styled level with SMW Mario. It looks cool like that. Also, I like that there are still a few people around who use those plants on columns.
