I'm trying to have progress shown as much as possible.
FATAL UPDATE:

My current ROM is now compatible with all emulators and all, but there is one fatal thing:

Every time I ExAnimate anything, the ROM wouldn't be playable anymore.

I've tried many things, using different things to ExAnimate, getting the same results.

I will have to port again, but this time, since I trust the current levels I have finished with this latest port, I will not recreate Trigger-Happy Range and Iggy Lake again.
Porting half done.

I decided to scrap all three of the fast patches I added to the rom, which messed up the exanimation, and instead patched Fast Rom, and everything works perfectly!

Also, the first part of Iggy Lake is done. I'm off to the waterfall section!

~

And, a failure of a Userbar that fails in failing:

Ahhhh! Very nice user-bar you got there. I suck at making userbars :( . When your talking about a waterfall section, are you going to make a waterfall level or is it part of Iggy lake?

Edit: Level Up!

Iggy Lake has two parts, a mushroom platform part, and a waterfall part.

That' all I can say for now; I'll be putting up screenshots once I fixed a couple of thing with the rom.

~

Also, A little less failure of a User Bar:

~

EDIT:

Presenting:

The First Main Part of Iggy Lake!
Very nice! It reminds me sorta of yoshi's island 4 but red and has a cool cave entrance! I'm also assuming the cave has waterfalls. On another note, have you worked on the overworld yet? Or is it going to be unchanged?

Edit: Add http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=51466&page=1 to your userbar to make it clickable.

Actually, it wasn't based on Y4 - Iggy's island is. (Yeah; confusing)

But, I was aiming for the feel. ;D

About the OW, I haven't changed it (I changed it in the earlier roms). But, I will change it to what I think Dinosaur Land, now called Bowser Land, will look like years or decades after Mario and Luigi's misadventure there.

Yoshi's Island/Iggy's Island will have a dark theme, and the place where the Yellow Switch is snowy.

~

Edit:

Some of the GFX I've done and/or ripped

Credits to DeeY for some of the GFX!
Hm... so I guess iggy's island will be the pallete of valley of bowser as shown in the first post I believe. Also, nice GFX except the blue + orange =] and =O blocks look weird on the edges (dark blue and dark orange instead of black edges). I'm pretty sure those use pallete 0 or something so trying to edit the palette will probably make the BG weird colors but you could try. I suggest getting/making custom BG GFX also.
I really like the mushrooms. The palette reminds of of gingerbread, and it's Christmastime. Om nom nom! ;)

And I hope for the best that you don't have to port again. I had to port my old hack once, back in 2007. I nuked the ROM trying to record the title screen demo. Harrowing experience for a first timer.

Based on the previous page, this looks very promising! Keep it up!
HELLO EVERYBODY! I'm trying to get back on with this hack, and I've decided to start all over again (technically).

Anywho...

I am planning to replace as much of the SMW graphics with something "newer" and more unique than other hacks.

Currently, I've replaced the Grassland, Cave, Castle, and Mushroom/Rope FGs. I'm thinking of having a "3D" version of the backgrounds; well, something to that effect.

And a lot more got changed; I'm ju7st too lazy to take screenshots of each one.

~

Additionally, new much more understandable themes for each world.

Currently, I have decided the themes and level names from World 1-3 (although they are subject to change). I just realize that part of the story of this hack is that each Koopaling can do whatever with their land, so with this, I looked up each Koopaling's personality and based their world around them:

Quote
World 1: Iggy's Mechanical Island

A dark, technological island full of mechanical shenanigans.

Required levels:

Techno Graveyard
Yoshi Quarantine
Hyper Factory
Iggy's Castle

Unrequired levels:
Trigger-Happy Range
Iggy Power Plant

Special levels:
Tourist Informations Center
Bowser Monument
Yellow Switch Ruins

And the other worlds (subject to change):

World 2: Morton's Cranky Desert

World 3: Lemmy's Funtastic Dome

World 4: Ludwig's Musical Bridges

World 5: Roy's Forest of Delusion

World 6: Wendy's Fantabolous City

World 7: Lemmy's Valley of Endurance

World 9: Asdfghjkl's Asdfghjkl

World 10: Qwertyuiop's Qwertyuiop

~

Anywho, after I've patched everything, I'll be back with another new Trigger-Happy Range.
Hmm... it's good that you're updating this thread but what's up with a missing W8, and odd W9 + W10 names?
