*Insert celebratory remark about 500th post here.*

This here hack of mine has been going under construction for over a year and has been progressing very slowly. Only 5/70 levels have been completed, but have had minor progress. It is planned to be BSNES compatible. But enough with the talk, let's get to some actual content.

Plot
After hearing enough of Peach and Luigi's bitching, Mario decides to get away from it all for a few days. After several hours of walking, Mario is confronted by a lone Shy Guy. The Shy Guy tells him he needs to come talk to time in his village, and Mario does just that. The rest of the plot will be explained in game because I'm too lazy to type the rest of it now.

ASM Stuff
-One player only.
-Turn blocks are replaced by bricks.
-The Feather is now replaced by the Raccoon Leaf.
-Sprites killed by fireballs will not produce a coin.
-Pokeys will always be four segments tall.

Overworld

List of worlds:
1. Coastal Plains
2. Chocolate Plateau
3. Seaside Shores
4. Gritzy Desert
5. Calm Caverns
6. Autumn Forest
7. Frozen Valley
8. Magma Mountain
9. Starry Skies (Bonus)

Holy shiz... That is an amazing OW. Awesome work, you are a champ at making OW's! Haha, yeah this is pretty good looking, the levels look great =D Also in the first set of pics, is the dark blue water in the BG? I mean it looks good but I might accidently mistaken it as the FG if it is the BG lol. And as for the FG/BG combo for the desert, great choice! I am going to follow this one, I really hope to see some more work on this =D
Wow this hack is looking pretty neat; and that's one amazing Overworld BTW.

Also cool to see that the Raccoon leaf is going to be in this. (I've always liked that power up)
I can swear I've seen this thread before...
Ah well. Freaking awesome OW! And I loved the BG from the first few screenies.
I must say that the overworld is awesome!
Also the levels look nice.
Keep the good work!

Wow, real nice work! I especially like the World 9 Sub-map! Great work so far, cannot wait to see more =D
Looks pretty cool so far. The Main OW is really great! The submaps are also pretty nice. The design of this hack looks also good so far.
Good work with these submaps. I really like the World 7.
Some good stuff here. I'm liking the World 6 palette.
As for the levels, they're pretty good too, especially the desert level. I'll certainly look for more updates for this.
Here are some sceenshots of the most recent level I finished... back in July.

7 out of 70 levels are now complete, meaning I've completed 10% of the levels over a span of 13 months. Hooray for slow progress.

Anyways, I've got my most recent level to show off.

Frozen Castle

Looks pretty good. I like some of the palettes.
Wow, this hack looks amazing! The OW maps are awesome! Where did you learn how to make beastly OW maps? :P

The levels look great, the palettes are very eye pleasing, and overall this hack looks great. I don't care how long this takes you, I'll be playing this when it's done. :D

- BlackMageMario
yeah, it's good, but I just dont like those yellow ? Blocks,
there a-bit too advanced for my standards, you might wanna change those
in to the SMB3 Blocks, that would look much neater.

A bit of ExGFX use could spruce up that number 8 sign of yours, but meh. You do what you want. I like how you used Bowser's SMB3 castle, though.

Seriously, these are really hot submaps and that's one cool overworld you got! I like the ones that don't need ExGFX to look nifty.

Good luck with this hack, man!

Personally, I don't like Vanilla Hacks, but your first (?) Level is vanilla-unique. And I really like the Gritzy Desert Level. And those submap - Finish this fantastic Hack!
I really like the 1-player-only-patch.
The Overworld is okay - maybe it needs more heights but actually it's good.
