during the process of most minor ASM patches, i decided: "mode7 game over, that would be great", and i patched it, BUT, an error came up the first time, so i assumed it didn't patch it for the saftey of my hack, then i tried again. it did patch this time, but the pallete came out suckish.
mabye it hates mode 7?
or was it a one time only error i encountered?

From what I remember hearing, xkas GUI doesn't like the incbin command, which that patch uses to insert the palette. Just use the regular version of xkas instead.

XKas GUI is really, really buggy. Use the Slogger to find free space and use the normal xkas. Just open up the command prompt, navigate to the directory XKas is in and type the following:
