Anyone still playing this game on the SNES? Basically it's a sandbox game, where your main objective is build a city, then protect it from virtually anything, ranging from crimes to hurricanes. HERE is an example.
So, here, you can show off your city, and what you thinked/thinks about this game.
Pretty fun game, I own it and enjoy it. Can't really show off cities though because it's on the SNES cartridge. I haven't played the old PC versions though, but I've heard a few totally awesome soundtracks.

... What?

Anyways I didn't know there was Sim City for the SNES. Meh, not that I'm gonna play it or anything.
I used to play quite a bit of it. However, I usually use an emulator despite the fact that I own the cartridge because the cart has a glitch where whenever you load a game the PD is defunct for the first month.

It's a fun game though, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good strategic game that isn't too easy or hard.
I grew up with this game, but never managed to get my city to the Megalopolis status without cheating. I think the highest I got on a normal map with water was about 450000 people.

Man, was it ever addicting.
I used to play it a lot. But I always spend the money like crazy and lower a lot the taxes.
Wow, memories, that game was crazy hard.
It took me a good year of solid play to master it at age 10, to which I then went on to Sim City 4, since it came out briefly after it.
I still cherish my boxed, complete copy of Sim City 2000 for the SNES, it's one of the main displays in my collection, alongside "Sim City", which is also for the SNES.
I have it in cartridge form. The Mario references are neat, particularly Bowser as one of the possible disasters.
