Is there somewhere on the site I can download the graphics that make all the blocks be perfectly square so there won't be cutoff? Or do I have to do it myself?
If you put it on the wrong palette you can actually see the black outlines.
Just make a few extra tiles of the shades in the corners, then make the black outline usng the bad palette.

no but it isn't that hard. you should take care of the black outlines, if you use the wrong colour you have a black block with some white in it. or you ask someone if you can use their blocks, most of the hackers have made them already square-ish.
I only partly agree with how 'sharp corners' look bad because some hacks use it and it's consistant throughout with out GFX and sometimes the rounded edges won't fit in this situation.
