| Tip: Create a fair "difficulty curve" - that is, start off easy and then get gradually more difficult as the hack progresses. |

Anybody watch this? If so, who's your favorite Doctor? I would ethier say David Tennant, or Matt Smith.

I'm currently at season 5(and I haven't watched the classic series), but I haven't had time to watch any lately =s
My favorite doctor of the three is Matt smith, and David Tennant is my least favorite =P

Davit Tennant, by far. And I watch this with my sister, it's pretty fun and sometimes sad.

O_o The guy right before David is my least favorite. I probably find Matt Smith to be my favorite since he never really gets to serious, and always is slightly jumpy.

Christopher Eccleston has always been my favorite. David Tennant was always too serious while Matt Smith is always too zany (He is pretty fun, I don't really care for the stories they are writing for him, though), Eccleston seemed to be a good mixture of the two.

Yeah. I always found Tennant to be way too "human"
He acts nothing like how I imagine a 900 year old time/space-traveler alien probably would.
And really, The main thing that makes me prefer Matt smith over Eccleston is the newer stories. Quite frankly, I've always loved Steven Moffat's episodes, and him taking over as executive producer is to me the best thing that has happened to the series so far :3

The new stories are all good separately, but there comes a point where the resolution of the story has to not be "You just have to believe in yourself". There's just too many of the episodes that fall under that category in the latest seasons (Not as much of an issue in season 5, but season 6 is riddled with them).

I agree with absolutely everything you say.
My favourite episode(s) has to be "The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang", a stunning piece of both acting and writing - seriously. Though "A Good Man Goes To War" is pretty good too, it seemed to take a more different approach than other episodes.

I just started watching Doctor who when the new doctor started. I had known about it for a few years before, but i never really watched it, when i heard there was going to be a new doctor i decided to watch it, and i really fucking love it.
I've watched some Tennant stuff which i liked, and some Christopher Eccleston stuff which while i do enjoy it, he is my least favorite doctor from what I have seen.
I like matt smith a lot, i feel like there are plenty of times where he is serious and not zany, i really don't think he over does it or anything.
I've been really enjoying the story, can't wait for new episodes.
Favorite episode is probably The vincent van gogh episodes. I really enjoy all the sad ones really haha, like the more recent one where they "leave" amy behind for like 30 years. Really touching IMO

Of those of you who have seen the latest season this past year, what are your thoughts on it? (I'll attempt to be ambiguous for those who haven't yet seen it) Personally, I've found that them attempting to use a much more complex story didn't go quite too well. Whilst I liked the overall premise of the story, the fact that Doctor Who's setup for a series is usually [Story->Filler->Middle Story->Filler->End Story] made it feel undeveloped and almost as though it wasn't really worth waiting for. The whole idea behind finding out how the Doctor supposedly died and how he would avoid the outcome was something new, but all of the elements they used seemed to be used all at once throughout the three or four plot episodes and not throughout the entire season, making the finale feel as though you would say, "Oh... Is that it?" as they didn't use everything they could very well throughout. Perhaps this is all from my "whiny moaning criticise-everything because I like writing" side of me, though.
That being said, I did overall enjoy that season, and I thought its 'filler episodes' were amongst some of the best. I just feel that if they're going to attempt to go towards a much deeper story, they should attempt to make the story more of an ongoing thing, and less of a slight nudge to the pelvis for five seconds every episode about the teaser for the next plot twist, before it is finally revealed.
