I don't care about the emoticons, but why do they always have to be so tall? I hate seeing posts where one line is about 5 pixels higher than the other. It ruins the looks of things. I mean, for example:
blah blah blah

Spoilers are visible in layouts that use text-shadow.
EDIT 2: Due to changing the colour of the text-shadow that my layout uses, you can no longer see the text in a normal spoiler tag in my layout. To compensate for that, I have changed the HTML so that it reproduces the previous issue.
You can see this very easily. (The text wasn't so clearly legible before; I did this on purpose to enhance the effect.)
Spoilers should use the style text-shadow: none.
Also, it would be nice to be able to override the style of spoilers within post layouts.
EDIT: this is a link in a spoiler

I was about to post that, I don't really think there's anything speaking against giving spoilers their own class (at least not more than with code and quote boxes), so doing just that might be cool.
Oh also, why the !important in the code for spoilers?
As far as I can see, it works just fine without: fjgfgfjgfg
Last question, why display: inline-block; instead of just using a <span>?

Because spans can't contain block-level elements, also where the fuck have you been?!

Are any other IE users having problems?
This is still an issue for me, by the way.

It works fine for me. Maybe you have some plugins or something that cause it? Checked your security settings, maybe?

Hm. Well, when you first installed the new toolbar, I could see it using IE. Recently (as in Monday or Sunday), however, the toolbar just...disappeared. Nothing in my security settings have changed, I haven't installed any plugins since you created the toolbar, and I'm always cleaning my DNS Cache because my Internet connection is garbage. I'll double-check my settings when I get home from class, but did you make any modifications to the toolbar that could have affected viewability on any recent IE versions?

No. Also, I just tested it in IE9 before writing my previous post.

Take another look at your post. While logged in. Also make sure this post is on the same page as this post.
Then you'll see why.
Note: it's really a pain in the butt to do that on purpose. But it's quite easy to do accidentally. Well not really since the spoiler tags use !important.
Also, any plans for linking to a quote source kinda like what I did above?
EDIT: Now brought to you via the CSS class source-post.
EDIT 2: Sure you aren't supposed to overwrite people's CSS, but there's nothing stopping you from using !important in your own stylesheet. Which would mess up any inline styles that don't also use !important.
EDIT 3: Hmm, I kinda like that red border on my quote box. *tweaks layout stylesheet* Nevermind, it makes my layout look too Christmas-ish

Oh yeah, the div stuff suddenly makes sense.

Uh well that's quite obvious, but people are not supposed to manipulate other people's css.
Of course it CAN be done, but it can be done just as well with code and quote boxes as it is (hence why I added that point to my post), and so far nobody really cared to screw up other people's quote boxes on purpose, and if it happened by accident, it usually helps to just tell those people and/or help them.
I mean whoops take a look at your post suddenly your quotes have red borders!
Toolbar works fine for me on IE9, too, but not on any older version.
Also sorryyy, we couldn't afford paying for the internet any more, so I kind of had no way of accessing it (still can't, by the way, I'm leeching off of some really slow public internet right now)!

I can confirm that there was an issue with IE8 (and 7, presumably). It has been fixed. Refresh and be happy.
