I loved the new toolbar.
Nice job on this, Kieran!
Yup, it looks very nice, indeed!
Does this render the text actually invisible?

I guess not.

Loving the highlight function, though.
So, yeah, I love the new toolbar!

....but where's the turn block smilies? D:
Good to see this implemented, it'll be nice to have a few extra features for use.

However what will be enjoyable will be watching the rapid descent of joy, to abuse, to utter rage as the spammy usage of the features will become less and less tolerable.

Ah the joys of sitting on the sidelines~
Nice! I really like the new toolbar, even though I hardly ever used the buttons (I got used to simply typing all of the code "manually" over the years), but the size and the spoiler functions seem to be pretty handy.
Totally love it. I always hated how the text formatting inputs always go at the end and not at were you're editing. Love the tools, love the hotkeys. Can't get any better [for now].
I do very much like this new toolbar. The spoiler button seems quite useful, though I'm not sure if I'll use it that often.

I also like the addition of the font size button!
Meh, I've seen better stuff

No, actually, this isn't what I thinked on, but...

THIS IS MADNESS!!!
I like it. But on the default layout, it's hard to tell where spoilers are on a post.
If my layout background wasn't black, noticing this spoiler would've been easy~

I wonder if I can CSS hijack the spoiler thing so I could make it appear white instead of black on my layout.

E: I managed to
put a border around my spoilers
. I couldn't manage to
override the background and text color
though, what a shame.

Really liking the new tags (and the look, for obvious reasons).

Suggestions for a spoiler tag revamp:

Add an outline of some sort to ease identifying spoiler tags, and make the text appear when hovered over instead of having to select the whole thing.

or

Spoiler (hover to show)
Use some JavaScript shenanigans to fully show and hide spoiler boxes.
(I don't know JS, so all I can do as an example here is some quick and dirty CSS work. Obviously, the real thing should feature a clickable button and have the box stay visible/hidden even when you're not hovering over the link.)

You could even let users choose the style they want to use and see, assuming that's feasible.

(Oh, and an option to have spoilers visible by default might also be worthwhile.)

Cool suggestion.

I quite like WYE's second suggestion here for javascript shinanigans. To be honest, the current spoiler tag just feels... lazy...
If you're doing a spoiler tag revamp, I'd prefer something that requires clicking rather than just hovering over.

So yeah. Also it's an indeed cool idea WYE.

Damn I love the new toolbar haha =D Good job Kieran, but I also agree with WYE's idea. I mean I like that you have implemented the spoiler option, but WYE's suggestion is pretty cool haha.
That was the original plan, but due to certain limitations, it's not currently possible. Still, I thought it was better to have half-assed spoiler tag than not to have one at all.

just a test

~

EDIT: Just like I thought...now spoiler tag + img... D=
It's quite awesome. However, it does clash on some of the site schemes.
I'm wondering, is it possible to have it change with the theme? :3

Also, this has already been mentioned thrice, but you still haven't commented on it Kieran

I just noticed that if you don't write anything in the "Name of quoted user" box, it inserts "

", which gets you no quote, and div 'errors'. It would be better if it just inserted "

" instead
Adjusting the opacity to 50% would make it look pretty OK.
