Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level, but if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at 070B2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.

I have a YY - CHR question:

How do you see the correct colors?
You make a savestate in the level you want to make/edit the graphics in, then click the furthest button to the right on the top bar of yy-chr and find your savestate file (.zst,.zs1,.zs2,etc...)
If you have Lunar Magic 1.9, under the palette editor there should be a blue star which says 'Export palette to file'. Save the palette file and open palette in YYCHR.
- Create a save state of your ROM from your emulator
- Place it in folder
- Open GFX in YY-CHR
- Open the Save State
I believe the savestates have to be from ZSNES to work.

e: I stand corrected.

YY-CHR can load palette table from emulators save state.
Nesticle, Famtasia, VirtuaNES, LoopyNES, G-NES, nester, RockNES, ZSNES

It doesn't work with Snes9x, though.

Now I'm curious. I have ZSNES and tried the savestate method but didn't work. A window popped up with undefined letters and symbols, clicked 'ok' and it did nothing. hmm...interesting.
