This is the thread where you can show off photographs and images of yourself. A few things are going to be different with this incarnation that will hopefully make it as useful and enjoyable as possible.
RULES:
1. ONLY post images of yourself!
This is the thread where you can show us what you look like. That includes slick haircuts, wacky t-shirts, eye patches, and anything that will let us see who you are. If you just want to dump some random image macro you found on Google, do that here.
(Yes, you can post pictures of you with other people. Just make sure you are somewhere in the picture.)
2. Be respectful!
Saying things like, "Wow, looks like you really are fat" might seem witty, but quips, insults, and hurtful remarks about people's pictures can be quite damaging, especially if people are already sensitive about their appearance. Remember: you can be friendly and funny at the same time.
3. Photographs that are too blurry, grainy, or hard to make out will be removed!
The general rule is that if you can't make out who or where you are in a picture, no one else can. Webcams, disposable cameras, and Nintendo 3DS photos are welcome--just make sure people can actually see you in the picture!
4. This post will NOT contain links to people's pictures!
While it wasn't a bad idea while it was in effect, posts can only hold so many characters. Even with excessive TinyURL use, we can only hold so many links in one post. To be fair to all users, and to prevent another whine/drama-fest, you'll have to search through the various pages of this thread to find pictures of interest. CTRL+F is your friend.
....I think that's everything. This list of rules is subject to change, so check back here once in awhile.

How about the post just links to people's post, which they can update with various photos of themselves, instead of people making alot of posts with only one picture to give. For example:
Users:
Maxodex
reghrhre
That way, you won't have to worry about a character limit as much, and I doubt someone is going to post so many pictures of themselves that it exceeds the character limit. And I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that we aren't going to get hundreds of users uploading photos of themselves, and if anyone decides to leave the website and hasn't contributed anything to the website, they can be removed from the list. This also makes it easier to find someone's photo without having to CTRL+F it, especially if this thread gets too many posts.

What exactly made the other thread "much better"? They both have the exact same purpose .. unless you're a fan of all the whining and bitching that was going on, in which case yes, the other thread was much better.
(on the topic of the thread, I should really get a picture of myself in a Santa hat up at work today.)

Hello. I haven't posted a photo of myself in a while, and I got a new haircut a few weeks ago. (My mom took a picture of me halfway through when it looked like I had a mullet...I wish I had that one handy.)
