I'm looking for some ideas on this level's palette...its pretty much a black and white themed haunted forest on the translucent level mode.

I like the theme and plan to keep it, but I'm wondering what you guys think about having mismatched colored sprites and blocks,
it just seems there is no color besides black/white/silver that I can make blend in well.
I'm kind of afraid to mix and match palettes because it won't match the theme, but at the same time I think having the same palette for everything in the level is kind of boring...thoughts? All gray or mix in some colors?
So far this is pure vanilla so keep that in mind.

The bottom part really convinces me there probably isn't any color that would work.
It sounds like you're in need of a gradient tool... Luckily, Lunar Magic has the thing you need.

In the palette editor, hold Alt and right click two colors that are on the same row(It works with colors on different rows too, but then you'd just get a massive gradient). Also, keep in mind that the lightest part of the gradient should be at the right, so you don't get weird backwards colors like shown here:

nice info thanks. That should save me some time, I've been doing the palettes manually so far.

Still kind of curious as to what people think about having an entirely grayscale level, does it seem boring to anyone? I put the brown and green palette blocks to show what I meant about mixing in colored palettes in a grayscale level.
Well, if you make everything gray then it would look boring but if you make some gradients (even if it's black and white) with using various kind of black and white, it could look good but I think a colourful land looks better than one "without life".
What you could try at least is to keep the original colors of the "?" blocks and turnable one, it should make it more appealing since it'll give it more light colors to the dark theme.
