Not sure if this is the right place for this. Please move it if there's a better section.
I joined SMWiki back in June. I never was able to verify my e-mail. No matter what I did, the confirmation e-mail just never came. Somewhere down the line I think I just gave up, since I didn't need it to edit anyways.
But then suddenly, out of the blue: Z0MG U N33D TO V3RIFY 3 M4IL TO ED1T TR0L0L0L0
Looking in the recent changes of the wiki, I can see why. A spambot has been persistently posting files advertising car insurance or some other dumb crap nobody cares about, and easily ban-evading when their account is blocked. I can only conclude Wikiministrators required e-mail verification to edit to try and slow down the spammer.
So now, if I can't get this confirmation e-mail, I won't be able to edit the wiki. Thing is, it just is not possible to get that mail for some reason.
I need some help here.
Fixed it!  I just put in some random Yahoo! email address I had laying around instead of my Comcast one and I got the mail in the spam box. Not sure why Yahoo! received it when Comcast didn't. ._. In any case, this thread can be locked/trashed.
