I'm not surprised that the church would say something so ridiculous and stupid. I'm really not. That's the sad part too, the fact that the Church is practically turning itself into the icon for stupidity and ignorance. First off, why? Just ask yourself why they would conspire to make half the world homosexual? What would they gain? More people having less children, therefore reducing the population to the point where homelessness and overpopulation stops being a dilemma? That's a rhetorical response, by the way. But still, I just don't get why the church finds that it has to make these stupid claims.

Actually the argument that gays can't have children and therefore are bad amuses me the most for the reason you just stated. This vulgar paranoid idea that the human species is on the verge of extinction because the whole world is gonna turn gay and people are just gonna stop having kids. This from the same organization that travels to these countries where the people make like $6 a year and they encourage them to have more children or they do what Mother Teresa did in Calcutta and they look around and decide the place needs a huge campaign against condoms and birth control. Anyways as a general rule of thumb I don't take lectures on morality from the people who AFTER WWII helped Nazi war criminals escape to Argentina and elsewhere.
