Ah, I see. Looking at an older but not quite old enough version, I can see where people are coming from. I still think bsnes v072 has the best debugger though, and if it's going to be using a debugger that doesn't have the highest accuracy (latest bsnes), may as well use the Qt version of bsnes. Or both.

I am all for accuracy, but I find the SNES9x debugger to have a much better interface overall. Even if you enable the 1.53 command line debugger. It is not without its flaws, it has issues tracing NMI, I am not sure if this was intentional or not. Maybe mentioning both is sufficient since they share most features explaining one then the other shouldn't take much time.
Just saw this in news ha. But yeah I definitely want to learn some more ASM! I only know how to code simple blocks =/ So this should be truly helpful =) I really want to get into making sprites.
If it's the FIRST Saturday in February, I might not be able to come. (I'm moving soon and my computer will be in a box for 3 days) But otherwise I'll try to be there! :D I really want to learn ASM.

I really want to learn about ASM too. But I'm trying to code my own sprites. But I can't think of it.

Alright! This is an awesome opportunity!
Well, I know almost nothing in ASM, just some minor things, and I surely can't do nothing with it, so looking forward to that ASM workshop.
I know 6 comands or so of memory and 6 more how to use, but constantly look up to remember 'em...
So Im am reallly gona benefit from this.
Great, I'll be there.(4th?11th?18th?25th?)

I don't know for sure, but it's quite likely it will be either the 18th or the 25th (with eventually another Saturday afterwards, that all depends on whether there is enough enthusiasm from both sides to make this last for more than one day).
The later the date the better for me. I'm hoping it's the 25th, but I might be able to make it on the 18th. But we'll see.
I'm leaning a bit more towards the later dates myself and I may have plans early February. I'll post the decided dates tomorrow.
I would like to participate in this. I need to learn some ASM.
Not sure if I'll be able to attend this, but if I've got time that day I'll definitely be there (and answer some non-advanced questions if needed).

If my opinion counts anything, what I'd like to see covered in the workshop is more advanced windowing and hardware/homebrew topics (vectors and whatnot) - I can see that might be a tad too advanced to be fun for the masses, though.
Oh I'm so there, I've been studying ASM for the past few weeks and I don't understand crap.
I was looking at my upcoming Saturdays, and actually all of them are pretty busy. Friday or Sunday may be wiser for me. However, most others are set on using Saturday, so I'll see what I can do. We will probably still have it on a Saturday regardless.
I'd happily do a Sunday or Friday. I often work on a Saturday so I'd probably be too tired to do anything (plus timezones will probably fuck me over. If we can get estimated times that'd be great).
Please let us know when because I really want to get some help with ASM.

Thanks for doing this in the first place!
I'd actually be quite interested in this. ASM has always been something I've considered learning, but never attempted.
Friday, Saturday, or Sunday seems fine. So long as it isn't early Saturday, I can't make it if it is.
Rough Estimates on date and times would be great. No problem if we must wait though.
I'm in it'll be nice to learn some new stuff
Sunday would be the best day for me due to the work which I have to do on Friday and Saturday.
At the end it's no deal if I can't attend to this event. I hope that some of you guys are going to release a logfile like 2 years ago. :)
