You know; I just thought of something. Why aren't we including the 2 other bosses from Mega Man Powered Up? I think that'd be only fair if their music got to shine in this project, too (also mainly asking this since I've already got Time Man ported, ).

I'm bringing this up mainly because you are "running" the current megaman soundtrack project and I'm worried that there will be heavy contrast in volumes between songs.
I'd also like to ask if we can use AddmusicM? Since my We're the Robots uses it. If not then I'll just convert it over (although the echo cancelling won't be in it)

Hm, maybe you're right. I included the bosses from Wily Wars, so why not Powered Up?

Yeah, go ahead and use AddmusicM if you want, although it would be nice to make it possible to convert to Addmusic 4.05 format (you know, don't use 50 KB of samples, an echo delay of 9, etc.) because AddmusicM is an anal, buggy, custom-sound-effect-less mass of annoyance not very many people use AddmusicM.
Also, my ports are too loud? I always have trouble with them not being loud enough. I suppose it's easy enough to change the master volume, since I rarely use anything below w220 (and lately have started using w250 to allow for greater contrast between channel volumes). I suppose I could compare them to most video game music...and turn my headphones up more.

Um...I'm getting a 403 Forbidden error on that. (Not that it would really be relevant to my porting anyway, since I never use MIDIs from SNES games because I can get SPCs for them.)

1: Yeah, I know, just click where it says 'Click here to listen to /download the requested file." It happens to all linked MIDIs. (all I really did was threw it through CapSPC, slowed it down a little, and changed the instruments)
2: Actually I was planning on porting it (which is why I put it here in the first place).
e: I'll be using your fourth sample bank.

I'm having a bit of trouble with looping Time Man's music, because I doubt it sounds like it should:
Original.
And here is the looped one:
Label Looped.
Does anyone know why it sounds so wrong? :|

Do you have anything like <(1)<(1)? If so, try changing the '<'s to the correct octave number. (It's happened to me before too, and this always seems to fix it)
e: got the first 5 channels done

I'll try doing that.

Finished.
As I said before, it uses the fourth of the provided sample banks. I just have to shrink it a bit and it should be good to go.
EDIT: Download

Well, I'm sorry to say, but scratch all my other claimed ports. All I'd like to claim is Time Man, because my PC got wiped D: (and the only txt I cared to back up in my dropbox was my Time Man port), so yeah. Sorry to say. :\
EDIT: Current status of Time Man (also getting looped at the moment).
EDIT2: I'd like to claim Burstman. I'm already far with it, and completion is nearing for it. I also got AMM set up, so as of now, it uses AMM. Luckily, it should be easy enough to convert it to AM4, since I'm not using any AMM-exclusive commands.

Sorry for this double post, but this project is kinda, well.. dead. So, I finally finished up Burstman. Included are both a AM4 and -M version. I couldn't loop #7 because it'd crash the song otherwise. Enjoy!
EDIT: Finished Commando Man.

Hm, I think I'll take on Dynamo Man, fully sampled (if I can fit all his samples into a single .bnk file...)

Here. Those samples actually ended up taking up a lot less room than I'd expected; I fit them all in without even having to delete anything (and, in fact, there's still 27A bytes left). They're in numerical order, i.e. sample 14 in the sample bank -> sample 09 in the original, 15 -> 0F, 16 -> 1C, 17 -> 1E, 18 -> 23, 19 -> 32, 1A -> 33, 1B -> 34, 1C -> 3B, 1D -> 3C.

Thanks a bunch, imamelia! That'll save me a lot of time!

@imamelia
So, I thought I could make something cool using those pitch enveloping samples in your 3rd sample bank, but they just don't seem to load...
I inserted imameliabnk3(pitch envelope) with sample tool, then set level 105 to use that sample bank, but I get this instead.
who guesses what song it is, wins pie
Opening the SPC with sample tool shows that slots 40-5F seem to be mostly empty or filled with garbage.
Also sample 28 seems to be missing, while, according to the readme, it was supposed to be there.
Thanks in advance!

Oops, I don't know how I got that wrong; it seems that sample 23 is there but 28 isn't...I must have switched a few samples and forgotten to update things. Okay, that's fixed in the readme. And did you by chance forget to save the ROM in Sample Tool or something? Judging by the SPC, sample 00 is at ARAM $8100, which is wrong; in the two sample banks with pitch envelopes, the samples should start at $8180. The data in the SPC isn't correct either, comparing it to one of mine that uses the pitch envelope samples. Also, is it Metal Man's stage music?

I've just tried again, making sure to save the ROM in Sample Tool, but the result is still the same, with sample 00 starting from ARAM 8100.
I did even redownload the whole set of samples (the one in the first page of this thread).
And using another ROM doesn't work either.
I don't really know <.<

Actually, you might have to insert the sample bank manually. Try inserting it with Sample Tool, but then after it tells you which bank it went in, open the .bnk in a hex editor and copy all of the data to that spot in the ROM.

Thanks, it works now:
Little preview
