I am making a text file encryptor & decryptor in batch (*.bat files). I need help though on these topics:
• Making the batch file able to support drag & drop functions. (Meaning, you can drag and drop a file onto the batch file.)
• Making the batch file output a file that has an additional "_DC" (for DeCrypted) when run through the decryptor, and have an additional "_EC" (for EnCrypted) when the file is run through the decryptor. Oh, and, files that are run through the encryptor MUST be plain, American text, nothing else. And also, that additional "_DC" and "_EC", it goes after the file NAME, not extension. (ex. Input file is "Hello.txt". Output file is called "Hello_DC.txt" or "Hello_EC.txt".)

I'd think the encryption/decryption part would be the worst to implement in MSDOS batch format. Unless you already have program to encrypt stuff.

why just use truecrypt is you want to encrypt stuff.
I have no clue why someone would use .bat files; it's worth installing a 'nix toolchain on Windows to get a REAL shell with REAL scripting.

SOLVED! iGnite (@hackforums.net) gave me an awesome batch code that did exactly what I wanted.
