Welcome, people. My name is Igna6750 and I... you know what? Let's not do the epic intro.
So yeah, a romhack, let's see.......
Oh, yeah! It's "the land of love and happiness"
It's about an italian plumber called Mario. You might know him from a game called Super Mario World. Oh, look! he is even on the website logo! That's a really big coincidence.
Well, Mario gets sent to a place and the princess gets kidnapped. He saves her and kills Bowser.THE END.
Ok, so that's not the story. The story is... Mario gets sent to a place, and in that place, he meets a really strange message box called Larry. BTW, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BOWSER'S SON, LARRY. I AM SERIOUS. THE FINAL BOSS IS NOT LARRY. REALLY. I AM DEAD SERIOUS. I AM NOT LYING. REALLY. REALLY REALLY. SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY REALLY.
Well, this message box tells him where to go and makes him go through some levels, fighting a boss at the end of each world.

There is also going to be cutscenes, custom graphics, music and sprites. In fact, I already added VWF Cutscene Tool to the ROM.

Judging by the screenshots, palettes are very colorful but you may want to change the OW it's too blatantly edited.

@miguel21450 Thanks. I'm trying to make his towards experienced players, although I don't know if I'm gonna keep lakitu on the first level.
@Wormer21 New screens should be coming soon. The OW is jut a placeholder for now.
@Austin Thanks, I think I'm gonna change the palletes because I've seen too much hacks use orange hills for the background. Don't worry, OW is just a placeholder.
@DiscoMan Thanks, the OW is a placeholder until I have the time to edit it.
BTW guys, I can't keep working on the hack right now because yesterday, my little cousin was playing with the computer, entered one of those prize links that give you viruses and... I don't think I have to keep explaining. I don't have a PC, only my MacBook Pro and my Phone (I'm writing from my phone right now cuz my MacBook is way too slow) and don't worry about me losing the hack, I have a backup! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUN

Hmm... I like your palettes =D But, the intro stage is flat with no decoration =0 Also the OW is a blatant edit of the Yoshi's Island Sub-map, please fix that =) But anyway I like your level design, just fix those few things and you should be set for now.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I went on vacation. The hack is getting a rename and there WILL be new screens soon, or possibly a video. A video would be ease, I guess.
BTW, the hack is going to be a short one (2 or 3 worlds) and is going to get released by C3.

Awesome. I like the screenshots.
Noob question: how did you get the pictures that way? I mean, 1x1 pixels when it all would normally be 2-4x2-4 pixels?

Actually, the level design is really good indeed! I like the palette and how simple it is, fits a first level perfectly. Nice job!
