Even though this discussion is a few days old now, I'll just throw in a post I made some time ago regarding the name of my level, and the few posts made below that one: click
So yeah, I'm totally okay with changing the name. I originally thought of Callous Cliffs, but decided to rename it since I deemed it too difficult of a name, and at that time I was the first to take the word Cloud in a level name.
Both names fit equally well. I have no problem with either of them.

There's actually more "complex" names in the hack now, actually, and the simpler ones are actually fewer (currently, Cloud Caverns and Final Factory, I think). So yeah - we can go crazy with the names unless it's something that's really baffling.
EDIT:
Digsite Dangers:
Digsite Dereliction
Enduring Excavation
Cellarden Crypt
Execrable Excavation Exceeds characters
Quicksand Quarry
Dangling Danger:
Rovi-Claw Clamor
Hanging Hazards - 3 Votes, which includes myself
Savage Suspension
Severe Suspension
Hanging Havoc
Dire Dangling
Hapless Hanging
Which reminds me to get Rioulu's blessing...I'm pretty sure were keeping Digsite, but we'll see if someone casts a vote on it or suggests another name, and I'll get Lynnes' blessing on this discussion...

"Final Factory" isn't the final name of that level anyway. It's just a placeholder name until Lightvayne or someone else comes up with something better.
I was really thinking something along the lines of "_______ Laboratory" or "________ Finale", but it would take a bit of creativity to make the title sound both climactic and fitting.

That name doesn't have the sounding of something final or climatic.

I thought about a name that shows that "Final Factory" is the main fount of all evil.
Something like "_______ Core".

So Riolu does not want his level name to be changed.
I'll try Lynnes instead, and we'll see if we get better names than the ones already suggested.
So yeah...:
Digsite Dangers:
Digsite Dereliction
Enduring Excavation
Cellarden Crypt
Quicksand Quarry
EDIT:
Quicksand Withstand
Quarry Quandary
Quarry Quagmire
Quicksand Quandary

In my honest opinion, I don't see the big deal of having 1 or 2 levels with the same word in it's name. I played a fairly good part in making Digsite Dangers and honestly, I like that name just the way it is. :/

Foundry Finale
Central Climax
Penultimate Post
Hindmost Hearth
Supreme Safehold
Enormous Enterprise
Calamitous Close
Just throwing out some ideas.

@Light:
Originally posted by Giant Shy GuyOriginally posted by IceguyTo be honest, I don't see why "Tussle" should be changed when to me it sounds much better than those two. The word "Tussle" isn't used in the same world and it seems like only a few users have a problem with the level names, so it's not like a big deal. People won't like SMWCP2 less if the level names aren't entirely unique.
There are many, many, words out there to the point were the amount of words in the English language alone can never be counted. All the other levels in the hack use different words - only a few of them are "redundant", so why not make it consistent and expand our vocabulary while we're at it?
During my lurking days, I recall reading tons of suggestion in level threads with "Tussle" in it - there's a lot other words out there than tussle.
Although, contextually, "Danger" and "Dangers" are used differently here.
If the mass doesn't want it changed, since it isn't really as close as Candy $ Coaster Calamity, and isn't as confusing as Soaring and Stormy Stronghold, and isn't as "overused" as the word Frost in the ice levels, then should we say we keep it?
@System: I'm assuming those are Final Factory names. Maybe we should have "Calamitous", even though it's a different form of calamity.

I also say just leave our two danger-based titles alone.
As for Final Factory, maybe we could try to work in something referencing the electricity/lasers abounding there. Having something core or center-based works two, suggesting this place not only to be ultimate goal of Mario's traveling, but also emphasizing this location being the heart (i.e. both the central and the essential vital organ) of Norveg's industrial empire.
Assorted daft ideas:
Electromagnetic Epicenter
Electroconvulsive Core
Radiative Reckoning
Cynosural Showdown
Nexus Norvegicus
Cathode-Colored Climax
Coulombic Crucible
Ohmic Obliteration
Diodic Dissolution
Magneto-Inductive Meltdown
Of course, half of those don't fit in the required space, but urf.

It might just be me, but I really love this one. Not only is it slightly witty with the play on Norveg's name, but "Nexus" is also incredibly fitting given the context of the level.

I like this also and second the vote on this proposed Norveg based title.

Well, I'd rather grow fond of Digsite and Dangling, so yeah I think everyone agrees we should keep it.
@Light: Well, isn't it your call when it comes to the name? Nexus Norvegicus sounds awesome.

I agree with this name as well! Not only is it clever, but it also sounds scientific, which goes perfectly with the laboratory setting.

Nexus Norvegicus? WIN. It even comes with a little, winking nod to "Adventum Terminus" from the first Production. It checks all the right boxes I can think of. Go for it!

Incidentally, how do you pronounce the second half of that name without it sounding ridiculously silly (to me, at least)? I like the idea, but perhaps a different variation of "Norveg" would sound better? Norvegious or Norveguous or Norvegia, for instance? Something about having the g and c sounds so close together doesn't sound right to me for whatever reason. Might just be me, though.

Well, it'd normally be anglicized as /nɔː.'we.gɪ.kəs/, though if we wanted to go all classical, we could opt for /nɔr.weg.i.kus/. As for why that particular form was chosen, it's a reference to the fact that Norveg's name derives from Rattus norvegicus, the scientific name for the brown rat.

This is for the credits list:
So, are we good with "Nexus Norvegicus" for Final Factory and are we scrapping Cloud Caverns for "Callous Cliffs"? (Or "Obscured Obelisk"?)
Also, I took the liberty to use the names "Coaster Commotion", "Treetop Toss-up", and "Frigid-Fried Frenzy" instead of their old names for the credits.
~
Now, we only have one pair of very confusing and redundant names:
Soaring Stronghold (The blimp level? Or was it the castle? I'm too lazy to look it up...)
Stormy Stronghold (Same with the above)
So far, the suggestions ware only for Stormy (which seems to suggest it's the castle, but I don't really remember...)
Stormy Stronghold
Thunderous Turret
Turbulent Turret
Treacherous Turret
Atrocious Acropolis
Fire away!
