You can just export the mwl files and load them up in a new ROM. It's still vanilla, so it shouldn't be an issue to just move levels like that between them.

map16 stuff does not transfer. You need to transfer map16 files too.
About this: Did you use hex edits to make the BG scroll without touching the grey winged platform? Because hex edits are not allowed.

No, I used the Autoscroll Special 1-A generator, the same used in the sublevels that you get teleported to, when yoshi gets the wings (i.e. level C8).
That one does actually make the BG scroll by default.

I'll be playing it later on, since I'm going to be uploading videos of every single contest level but my own starting tomorrow. ...actually, on second thought, why don't I play it right now? I'll get back to you on the feedback. ;)
Since it's the last day, I guess seeing the entries of some YouTube vids would be nice.

I’ve been playing thru all the levels in this contest and found that a few users submitted unplayable levels (either bad patch, level corrupted, etc).

These users are:

SPY
xjakku
Vink
bbk61

I’ve only checked up to the 84th entry btw.

Pretty last minute to be saying this but most of these users just submitted their level so…
Okay, level played, video made. Ludus, my thoughts:

-I thought the level was very visually pleasing! I especially loved the darkening effect in the first area when time got below 100. It's too bad it's only used there and serves no real purpose. :( Then again, looking back on everything, it fits thematically since the end of the level is at night, although night falls very fast in the first area. ;P
-The black outline at the top of the water in the underground area confused me at one point, making me think a spot was solid ground when it wasn't. A very minor thing, but...
-Also, speaking of the underground, I love how you have a =) face near the top of the pipe you enter it from.

Now, for a few other issues:

-Underground, there's quite a few spots where the game slows down because of too many sprites, especially towards the end with all the Koopas.
-When you die after getting the midway, if you take the top-left pipe, you're thrown to right next to 1UPDudes, instead of near the midway like the other two pipes.
-In the foresty area, the dark mushrooms look like they should be in the background, but they're actually in the foreground.

I thought it was a neat level, it just had some issues. Video will be up tomorrow~!

Also, incidentally, the Beta Luigi Boss was tough for me; it took a while to figure out just what I was supposed to do, and even then, it didn't help me much at all. I can NOT figure out the intended timing for avoiding the blue shells, and the message confused me greatly until I realized what it was saying by "top shell" and "next shell". When the middle shells come, I jump early; on my last go, I got hit despite jumping early, soooo...yeah. Honestly, at the start, I thought you had to hit the buttons when the shells hit the blocks on the left, not BEFORE.
So if someone wants to give me some feedback too, please do so ^^
Well, given the amount of contestants and the average judging time. I assume we will see the results by May 1st?

If anyone is still crazy enough to ask for a beta test and feedback with very little time to fix any issues then please request me by PM and I will test the level and provide feedback as soon as I possibly can without rushing the test itself.

Also good luck to everyone except... anyone with a level exactly 62 screens long.

I finished my level savestateless, and it's kind of hard, but manageable. If anyone wants to judge my level, send it via PM.
When do the judges download the level? Do they wait for the deadline, then download whatever version is available? or do you have to make a new post for every update?
