No, because your level is not worth playing to begin with. Stop trying to waste everyone's time with that train wreck of a level.

I am not trying to waste EVERYONE's time. Hence I put the message "attention HARDCORE gamers"
I was bored and looking through the last few pages, and I saw this.

You completely misunderstood me. I agree that when you have one good thing and the rest is bad, they're going to point out the bad ones. But what I'm saying here is that they don't tell you how you can improve, and that's what feedback is about. You're not sure what you should fix, so the flaws will be there still.

Name me all of the previous LDC results where the judge provided "actual" C+C. They tended to give you a general statements, if anything. Either way, big whoop. I am not here to kiss your boo boos better if you like that if I don't say anything positive or negative about a level. Calling one out on faults is easier than singing their praises.

So let me see if I'm reading this correctly: you're not going to give constructive feedback on some (I'm assuming some) levels because judges in previous contests didn't do so. Also apparently because it's either.

what
If you want me to compliment an aspect of your work, earn it- I will not just give it to you. It is not my style to give you words of encouragement or to sing your praises if I don't feel you deserve it. (see also: my level posts in the SMWCP2 subforum). I can go into a more "detailed" analysis with level entries if necessary, but that doesn't mean that I will, especially since a lot of people were still sore after Tatanga's explanations and that my scores tend to dance around Axem's for the most part.

Except you already gave them a chance to try your level two weeks ago, when many of us picked your level apart for being such a joke. If anyone has been paying attention to this thread, they would've either tried it or, like me, not even bring their mouse pointer anywhere near your .ips link.

Except this is a different challenge. This time, you have to go through door 1.

We've got better things to do in this thread. Why would people want to do a special challenge for one specific level, let alone one of the most annoying entries in the contest?

This is why people think your posts are obnoxious.

How do you know they didn't go through door 1 last time? Instead of having to go through a specific door, why not make them have to go through it without taking damage? Obviously the part right before the cape doesn't count. See, this is why it's awkward to challenge someone to do a 'no damage run' for a level with a Kaizo philosophy.
Anyway, I thought we agreed to not talk anymore about Nine Inch fireballs, since I'm sure the feedback has sunk in, but I don't know why you brought up another thing about the level when that would encourage more controversy.

I did not want to talk about it anymore, I just decided to throw out another challenge, and I figured this would be the place to post it. But you do have a good point, not to mention I just realized that throwing out a challenge would be off-topic.

Who is participating for the first time in the VLDC?

Haven't checked in a few days, so couldn't respond, but it's my first. Fifth/Sixth level I've ever made, can't recall which exactly since it's been about two years since I last tinkered with Lunar Magic.
It's been my first contest as well. I really don't get either of the sides seemingly getting angry at eachother.
Not everyone thinks the same here, and that's good and well, but even though it is possible to just ignore MrDeePay, he didn't have to throw out his thoughts like a cannonball.
Well, that's enough commentary from me. If anyone wants to place some commentary about my level, feel free to.

Possible, but not a good idea.

You do realize that he is one of the judges, right?

Yeah, mine too. Well, the first one that I actually tried. The last one I entered I just made a joke entry with terrible palettes and whatnot. It also had an automatic section at the end that was mistaken by all the judges to be a kaizo section, so that was funny at least.

Of course. But he's still human; there is no reason for someone to completely believe what he says, is there? I am merely doing the same as him, giving my opinion straight up.
Sounds to me that you may not be willing to accept anything (or everything) I say about your level. If there's "no reason for someone to completely believe what he says", then there's "no reason for someone to completely believe what Axem or FirePhoenix says," either.
Sure; there's no reason to believe anyone. Well, believing may be a strong word. I will still read everyone's comments just like yours, and my thoughts on level design will probably change because of that. I'm just not going to accept the exact things you say since I have different values than you do.

Well, that's enough philosophical thoughts for now.
(By the way, were the other two judges supposed to be already revealed?)

what about taking what he says into consideration at least?
Isn't that what I just said? I'll take it in consideration, but I won't just accept it for truth the exact moment I read it.
Nobody's asking you to treat the judges as gods- in fact, I encourage designers to read the feedback they receive critically and not just accept it without reservation. On the other hand, it doesn't pay to stubbornly deny the usefulness of said feedback, since it's really meant to point out issues and help designers improve.
