Tip: Test your levels as all forms of Mario (small, super, fire, cape). If it's possible to enter a level with Yoshi, make sure to test that as well.

Come on, don't be such a pessimist. It doesn't necessarily mean your level is bad, you know. Just that you shouldn't assume a level is good even though you spent a lot of time on it. It goes for everyone, not just you.

It has been stated before that basis of judging in this contest is focused on design. Just because a bad from a design standpoint doesn't necessarily mean it's completely bad (though I do consider level design to be of high importance). Not everyone considers competent design to be the main focus of their hacks, and to them, good levels focus on other aspects like graphics and gimmicks. They probably wouldn't score well in this particular contest, but that's because their definition of a good level is subjective.
I hope I get rank 30 to 20 or so... Btw: This thread gets to an emo thread! #mlp{rd}
I hope that I get ranked higher than last year...oh... This is my first time in the contest xD

Still, correlation doesn't imply causation.
This is my first time entering a level design contest, so I hope I place high. I tried to keep my level simple, foregoing things like vanilla cutscenes. I also kept the difficulty reasonable, which wasn't too much of a challenge considering my levels tend to be on the easy side.
I sure hope my level gets over last place. I put a lot of effort into it anoh wait.

(looking forward to the results nonetheless. There are a couple of levels I have in mind which I'd be shocked at if they didn't rank at least in the top 10.)
Results are up!
