So, I'm planning out the plot and characters for the full version of Aether, and thinking about stories so much made me think something; what hack out there has your favorite story, or the best method of telling the story?

When I say a 'good story,' I'm talking about a story that is original, and/or provides a good source of motivation for the player to keep playing. Also, when I say the 'best method of telling a story,' I'm talking about being able to tell the story without a big infodump in the beginning, but rather telling the story in a clean or original way.

It's hard to tell a good story. There are some hacks with good stories out here. But I don't play hacks here that often, so I can't list much of them. I always find inspiration by playing games from the genre I want the story to be in. So if I want a story for a shooter, I'll play some shooter games, etc. The main thing is to stay original and read through your own story to see if it's nonsense or good.
