I do not believe there are many who have heard of this electronic-style yet cultural band. But I have. And their songs are powerful with lots of meaning and emphasis on the dark side of life. They've become one of my favorite bands and I'm trying to become a Julien-K fan myself. They've had a few live performances and tours, many of them before the debut of their first CD almost three years ago.
So, anything to say here? It's good music in my opinion.

Meh. They can't seem to decide whether they want to be new wave or industrial, there are much better industrial bands out there. Also wut @ "emphasis on the dark side of life". If you want to hear about the dark side of life, listen to Big Black. These guys are just whiny. There are definitely worse bands out there, but these guys are just not my thing.

Truthfully, I don't know how else to describe their music. I've listened to one of their latest songs "The Hunting (Jay Baumgardner Mix)", which has a bit of feeling in it.
@ergazoobi: That's just your opinion, and fine by me, because apparently Julien-K is successful enough to do live tours and release their albums worldwide.
