Okay, so there's this thing on the site (don't see it now, does it only appear on occasion?) that, if ya clicky it, plays music. All well and good, even if I don't usually like the music. What I want to know is how one affects this. Is it a randomized playlist set up by a mod, or is there someone who directly affects what is playing, and if so, how might a person suggest a song? Link it from youtube or upload the mp3?
Just want to know more about this site function.

You mean the radio?
I'm not sure about the specifics but whoever is assigned the DJ handles the music. You can always send the DJ a message about it, but it's ultimately up to them whether or not they'll play what you want.
You can become the DJ yourself, I'm not sure whether to ask Kieran or someone else about it though.
EDIT: Yes, it only appears while there is an active DJ.
