As the current title says: "I just got bored so i made storyboards"
Storyboard 1
Storyboard 2
It's a storyboard of an animated scene in the Disney style, so, in full animation. Imagine that Watsonmouse-like character (i remember the italian name of Basil of "The great mouse detective") animated in an anime way! LOL
Of course, i'll try to animate it, but it will take me a lot of time, maybe the time i did 10 scenes of the SMWCentral Cartoon.
It's not for Scuola Comics, but i'll show this at the exames.
(For who doesn't know: a storyboard is a comic-like page set that will indicate the animators to what to do and how to. I dunno if American Storyboards are made like in Italy, though.)

Consider me impressed. Do you by any chance have any plans to do some serious animation work in the future?

If i must reply to Smallhacker's post, i REALLY plain to enter Disney Studios in a pretty far future and become an animator (or general artist if those guys keep doing only CGI Movies that are not in the level of Pixar at all: i just gave a look at Chicken Little... EYESORE X_X) But, for now, i want to do animation (or storyboard, layout, or model sheet artist) for serious work and make you watch shows i drawn myself. Think how embarassing!
Thanks guys!
A continuation of the mouse:

You know what is cool? It's the teacher that says you it's cool but you need to fix some small things (specifically the arm movements, which i recognize that they must be fixed) Think that the most skilled animator can get a correction from supervisor (Think, a Disney Animator called Glen Keane, notorious for his talent, has fixed animations of Tangled in 2D, despite the movie was in CGI).
By the way, i wonder why no one has seen this below:
Works of past: Animation Showreel of 2009/2010
Also some non animation stuff:

Grisbaman!

I wasn't very impressed by your animation on the World of Insanity but these are so, so much better. The fact the hat goes through the wood post bugs me, though. If you lifted the mouse's arm a few centimetres when he takes it off it would've been perfect.
You're a great artist.

I agree 100% with Blumiere. If you edited the frame(s) when the hat goes through the post, it would give your art a bit more polish.
Good work otherwise.

For the animation, well, thanks for supervisioning, i bet even my teachers would have pointed that out, but i think something like this would have been fixed by progressing: animators fix everything. Indeed when i'll put hand again on this (becaue it's two week i didn't work on it, probably because of the SMWCP2 collaboration), i think it will look very different.
Anyway, i just want to post some random arts i made throughout those days:
Izasmallordacteral: Not a pokemon splice, but a pokemon parody;
Arrietty simply walks into Mordor (really).
Edit: Also: Below is my Kieran's appreciation way:

Just noticed that demo reel. I'm still very impressed (and slightly jealous).
Out of curiosity, what do you use to draw your non-animated pictures?

You are just amazing!
I have nothing else to say; whatever you want to achieve with your talent could be achieved in no time!
From what I know, Disney plans to create 2D movies every two years; the last one was Winnie the Pooh...the next next is the Ice Queen from my remembrance (I'm a movie junkie)
But anywho, this is awesome work!
EDIT:
Can I possibly use this awesome work of yours to be the inspiration for the Super Mario World sequel (no; like a true sequel) I am planning make?
It's really good and has a sense of progression and give a SMW feel...
You are just fantastic! I just bookmarked you devianart!

@Smallhacker: I just use Photoshop CS5 (but i could have done it even with previous versions), the same program i used for the animation. But Photoshop CS5 is the most suitable for illustrations. For animation there is Flash or ToonBoom. Sometimes, i draw some roughs in a paper and port them in the computer, manually inking and coloring above them, but it rarely happened in this period.
@GSG: The Snow Queen is going to be in 3D... ;____;
Also, it's title is Frozen. I just hope Disney is not following the boring roots of Dreamworks. Yes, Dreamworks too makes good movies, but not as good as Pixar's ones. And Disney is much more suitable for 2D, not 3D: When Chicken Little was released, so you realize where it went downhill.
Also, no, you can't use that Pancake Land: Not only because i don't let any of these personal works to anyone (even if it was SNN offering me money), but even because i'm already using that for my own hack. See? I used this as base.
For the recall: this is Pancake Land.

Oh shoot. And why did they have to change the title? I like "The Snow Queen".

No matter; you did a great job replicating it on SMW's overworld by the way!

Because they had to find some appealing title that do not go to the traditonal way: Instead of the traditional Snow Queen, they had to find a super generic name like Frozen: pretty much like with Tangled. It was going really to be 2D hand drawn, but i don't know why they decided to make it 3D. I'm just upset for this, because Disney is completely missing the point, even if some of it's movies are good.

Agreed; as much as visually appealing (and heart-warming storytelling) its Pixar movies (and Tangled) are (save for Cars 2), it's a real bummer they decided to scrap a whole decade's worth of painstaking hand-drawing, which was shelved a couple times, and replace it with CGI for the heck of it.
A lot people, including myself, is really perplexed and disappointed that they decided to make a move like that. ;/
But anywho, we are here for your own amazing works ;L
I just looked through your how album; I love all of them!
