| Tip: Remember, if you place a moon, midpoint, or Dragon Coin using direct Map16, it will always respawn when you re-enter that sublevel. Use the extended object instead. |

I don't know why but after a while in one of my sublevels the dolphins and porcu puffer begin to float above the water. I really have no idea what the hell is going on i looked at level BE and level 2 (existing smw levels with porcu puffer and dolphins) and all my setting are the same. Could somebody help me
sprite buyoncy or whaterver is on and that thing above is set to 00
layer 3 is low tide offcourse
at the mario head the level setting is 00 and layer 3 is forced above other layers or something.
sprie set is obviously water and the fg/bg set rope 3
and i really dont know what i can say more.
Heres a screenshot. Mario is not visible because he just got hit by that porcu puffer.

Move Porcu-puffer one block down. They always travel in straight lines, regardless the presence of water. Have fun. ^-^

I set the porcu puffer only 3 tiles high. After a while is starts to go higher. They only travel in a straight line if they are swimming on the surface. withouth water they slowly sink. That also happens if sprite bouyoncy is off. If the whole screen is filled with water they always go up.

awegriffin: Porcu-Puffer actually does move vertically, but very slowly. If they're at crappy heights, this will only show up when they appear, not later. (It is, of course, still a good idea to put them as close to the surface as possible, but it won't fix this problem.)
bbk61: I'd vote this patch. I'm not sure how Nintendo's sprites manage to avoid this.
...actually, maybe that's why Porcu-Puffer moves this slowly? To hide the bug?

Porcu-Puffer moves infinitely upwards if the level he is placed in doesn't have enough screens (it needs to have at least 3 or 4 screens). I don't know if it's the same with other sprites, like the dolphins, but I'd assume so.
