Do I use the $13CC RAM address directly or do I store to $0F34-$0F36 to add and subtract coins to the six digit coin counter?
If you're using version 1.5 (originally made by Ringodoggie, modified by Roy, HyperHacker, and me), then just using $13CC will work fine for adding. For subtracting, you can use !RAM_DecCoins, defined in the patch.
You need to set A in 16-bit with REP #$20.

Code
REP #$20 LDA $0F34 CLC ADC #$XXXX STA $0F34 SEP #$20 RTL

#$XXXX = Coins you want to add in hex.

To subtract, I'm not sure, but I think there's a RAM address to do that, just store the number of coins you want to subtract to that RAM address.

EDIT: Ninja'd.
Thanks.
