ok guys this is my first super mario world hack and i am a standstill i need too know the difference between TAS hacks and Kaizo hacks and one other thing whats a good program to use for this cause i have done this before but not in over 3-4 yrs.Also, I need some inspiration on level design because all the ones i see are all magnificent and i'm trying to figure out how i want to make this lvl any ideas?

The "Works in Progress" subforum would have been a better place to post this - and even then, you shouldn't have made this thread just now, since apparently you haven't even started working on your hack and thus have no visuals to show.
For inpiration, check out existing hacks and perhaps look around in the Tutorials subforum. As for which program to use, Lunar Magic is pretty much your only choice.
Going to close this for now. If you have any hacking-related questions, ask here, and when you have something to show, feel free to create a new hack thread in the appropriate place.
