| Tip: Try making new backgrounds using SMW's existing graphics. For example, if you have a hilly BG, rearrange it to make it look more unique. |

You know, this is probably the least active of all the forums/sub-forums. Only one post has been made in there this year as opposed to the hundreds in asmwcp2, woi, etc. So are we just going to leave it as is; should we update it for it to have more attention; will we just remove the sub-forum and document anything in there that is of importance?
I was just curious about it, since I would like to have it documented somehow.

I'd leave it as is. SMW hacking is constantly evolving and the subforum is a useful place for documenting new things. Although it doesn't recieve many posts, most new posts are invaluable.

You see, the more is discovered about SMW, the less there is left that has yet to be discovered. I won't say that we have discovered all of SMW, but we have discovered a good portion of it by now. Therefore, the chance that you find new data nowadays is not as great as before - if you look at the date of the threads and their posts, you'll see that their amount decreased exponentially over time. This is only logical.
I personally wouldn't find it a good idea to remove the forum altogether - because the forum is loaded with, some more, some less, important data, and it would be a mere waste to just throw all that away. On the other hand, I wouldn't know what to update in that forum, or why we would want to update that forum in the first place - it's strictly for SMW discoveries. And I'm sure that discoveries will always be made in the future, only not as frequent as in the past, so I think it would be futile to try to boost activity in this section when there really isn't any need for.
My two cents.

SMWiki would be a better place to put it when it becomes active.

I guess it makes sense to leave it as is. However, I'm still interested in documenting it so it's more organized. Of course, there isn't an immediate concern if everyone else is fine with it as is.
Also I have some ideas on what to do with Media if you guys are interested in hearing it.

So document it. Nobody is stopping you from doing so and making a thread about it in that forum; it's just that the forum isn't completely dead, is all.
