This really seems interesting. New Pokemon introduced within the same generation hasn't been done before, so, uh...wow.
It would also be nice to see the HG/SS Pokemon-following feature back, so seeing that in there made me pretty happy. :)
But, as you said, this might not actually be credible information. If it is, though, I'd say this could really be something big.

I might, or might not, get this. The tuxedo ghost pokemon is a cool idea, to say the least, and i always thought the steel type was underused.
I hope this information is credible. This looks pretty darn interesting.

I would say just because people through this time expect from next generations something more original and epic. Myself it discouraged me to play games from Generation III and IV (at least) because of a bit childish graphics and music, absurd plots (for example the aim of Team Aqua/Magma), yet cheesy attack animations in battles. I really adore much content/hints in such minimalistic text people put on their games, even 'DODONGO DISLIKES SMOKE' . If it should be really very much of it, then at least it should encourage us to read it to the end (for example some Zelda games) instead to skip it in whole, in hope we finally resume our game again.
About Pokemon, first generations for some are much better than newer mostly because species are very various. Through generations, these Pokemon are getting just pathetic - so much, that I accept infamous Magikarp better than a decent Ludicolo.
In conclusion - if newer Pokemon games are made for newer consoles, then at least their content should impress us so much as nowaday technology. Unless they want to make games exclusively for children, then why not?

Release date updates!
The Japanese release date is June 23, and the US release will be in October: Link
EDIT:
HUGE BW2 UPDATE!
Some scans of next month's CoroCoro have surfaced, revealing some new characters, cities, and other things. Here are some of the notable items:
- The player character lives in a city. Not a town, a city. Complete with a Pokemon Center, a Trainer's School, etc.
- There will be a Poison-type gym for the first time since Kanto.
- The game takes place two years after the events of Black and White.
- The order of the Unova Pokedex has changed, even including Pokemon from the first four generations (Lapras, Larvitar line, Beldum line, Riolu line, just to name a few).

More big news. Here is the article on GoNintendo.
http://gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=175412
Well the whole first full fledged sequel of a pokemon game ever thing is true. The rest kinda isnt. They didn't introduce new pokemon at all. And it's not set in a new region. It's still Unova, just partially frozen. But there are a bunch of new areas. Although I guess they DID put an effort on trying to make this game feel new. I guess this wont really be as bad after all

Ah, well.
Still, it's nice that they've included Pokemon from the previous generations in the Unova dex now. New areas and gym leaders as well, I'm still liking this. I'm also still digging the "direct sequel-ness" of the whole thing, which is still something that hasn't really been done before in Pokemon.
There doesn't seem to be any mention of the Pokemon-following feature from HG/SS, though, but oh well.

The new Corocoro is leaking. So prepare your anuses for a load of new info.
Originally posted by Source is Pokebeach.com'Update (1:00 AM) - The poster of the scan has revealed more information! First, the new formes for Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus can only be caught in the Pokemon AR Searcher game, which of course can then be transferred over to Black 2 and White 2. Second, Cheren will appear in the games as a Gym Leader. Third, "Pokewood" will replace Black and White's musicals (a combination of Pokemon + Hollywood?); it's apparently the movie theater feature that appeared in several of the game trailers.
Update (3:45 AM) - The same source also says that Misty, Green (Gary), Lance, Volkner, and Steven Stone appear in a new facility run by Cynthia where you can battle them. That's probably where we'll see Brock and Giovanni as well.
Update (4:00 AM) - Lt. Surge and Erika will also be present. Apparently the facility is called "World Tournament." It seems you'll be able to battle every previous Gym Leader and Elite Four Champion there.
I guess this explains the unused Kanto champion battle theme in B/W.
I think I'm excited for this.

I tend to believe, and notice, that the best quality games are those that are being developed over a long period of time. It allows for refinement, new ideas, innovation and time to observe the market and make changes to your selling strategy. I mean, Pikmin 3 was announced years ago, and I'll bet my left foot that it'll be one of the most amazing games to be released on the WiiU.
Granted, this is on a DS, so the whole process would probably be a lot shorter in length considering there's less content and commitment needed.
... I'm really not sure what I was thinking when I posted that.

I'm even more excited now! But uh, blm, I thought it was already confirmed that the Kanto Champion theme was used for the Battle Subway, at the World Champion. There IS a "World Champion Station" song...

I think that song only plays if you're battling against the #1 ranked person on either the ranked random battle or the Global link GBU tournament stuff. I severely doubt anyone is going to find out anytime soon.

And now the chances of me getting Pokemon White 2 are 100% confirmed.

Oh, now this is looking awesome. Except for Bianca returning, that hurts my soul a bit, but whatever.
Having all the gym leaders and champions from the previous generations sounds really cool, and I'm all the more excited for Black 2/White 2 to be released. :)

I have, almost, never played a single Pokémon game. But aside from that, A SECOND BLACK AND WHITE!?!?
How vapid! Atleast, would the authors of the series come up with more creative titles, it will appeal more. Why not "Fire and Ice" or "Venus and Mars" or mabey even "Salt and Pepper"(though it is similar to the later), or what about "Alpha and Omega"? But Black and White 2? C'mon!
I did have witness the Generation V pocket monsters such as klinklank, genesect, and meloetta. I find them very cool!

Anyway, the games are gonna be compatible with some 3DS software, the AR catcher, where you'll be able to get the Sacred Beast forms of the cloud trio and transfer them to the and (maybe) pokedex 3D pro. Just throwing that in here.

Awesome to hear of the official release date, though that is rather far away...oh well.
After seeing some more details of B2/W2, I'm now extremely hyped for both games. I can't wait for the release date to finally come!
