hello this is my first hack called Sowhart world mini, basically the mini being short or 1 level hack.
mostly minecraft like in 2D!
You play as Sowhart a young boy in the world of minecraftia.
who sets out to find diamonds but when night comes.. instead of the normal mobs spawning you get odd creatures (Smw enemies) and you try to
avoid them... because in this hack there are no powerups (or are they?)
Anyway I have done the first part of the level and made the title screen:

Image was too big and stretched the screen.
I plan to have:
Music close to the MC soundtrack
Some more custom Graphics
Some Cutscenes
and a custom character that looks like my profile pic.
Now I'm not good at Graphics so I am kinda looking for someone who can help.
Also My friend who is called Corruptendo told me that one of the members of SMWCentral was working on a Music porting tool of sorts so it would be easier to make music, if you know where I can find the thread or download please could you post it to me as it would be very helpfully! thank you!

Well the level design is good for a W1 level (which this would be an easy hack if it would be 1 level hack only) But I'm not that big of a fan of the white squares and the mixture of 2 tilesets, its kind of like cut off if you know what I mean, if not, then please go to the SMWiki.
Its good, but it has errors, maybe you could put black in the trees and make shading on the white blocks in the BG (or what ever the things in the BG are).
I never played mincraft but I'm sure it was not 'mixed' that badly, but the level design is good.

ok ill fix the image to be a link, thanks you the feedback,the white squares are clouds because on minecraft clouds are pretty much flat white squares unless playing on fancy graphics, but I may darken the clouds to suit the time of day.
I'll keep working on it.

I've been trying to find some music to use in my game but havent found much of use, it would be appreciated if someone would help in maybe ripping more of the GFX from minecraft such as the other ore's like iron, lapis, redstone, Diamonds etc, most blocks to add to what I have atm.

havent worked on this for a while and I don't really have time to do something like this sadly. So can a mod close this till im ready to do this again? tah!
