Strong storms on the horizon. The few parts of the map that aren't under a Tornado Watch are under either a Severe T-Storm Warning or a Tornado Warning. The weather guys talk about 145 miles per hour, and the portion they are talking about is lined up to hit the county I'm in.
If anything happens, then farewell. If not, I'll see you whenever we get our internet connection back.

Oh, I hate those things. Tornados especially.
Though where I live, tornados are rare, but I do get some tornado watches, usually when there's a severe thunderstorm.

Tornadoes are so sexy, the way they turn the sky green...the strong breeze that blows your hair and of course they give me a primal surge of adrenaline.
I used to follow them back in Iowa, luckily the lake in my town was said to drive tornadoes away from the houses.
If you're seriously worried about tornadoes...
1. Keep food in your basement.
2. Keep light sources handy.
3. Hide under a sturdy piece of furniture(workbench/table)
4. Remain calm.
And those are my pro-tips.

Tornadoes are Horrible.
Though I never experienced Any Natural Disaster Here in Holland, it's Common Sense to take cover under anything sturdy, and Stay inside.
Agent Q is usefull.

My favorite stroms are angstroms and maelstroms.
Speaking of maelstroms, Florida does get some pretty stormy weather from time to time, especially when hurricane season rolls around. I have yet to experience anything truly catastrophic, but I do remember the 2004 Hurricane season and the ridiculous number of storms it had.

We don't really get thunderstroms here very often. Usually we get them in the summer after a long period of warm weather, due to high pressure.

Unfortunately, it actually did happen. Marysville down the road was hit pretty hard, and having it snow right afterwards didn't help make it better. Henryville was also hit pretty bad, knocking out homes and even their school. The recovery phase appears to be over, and we're now on to the cleanup/rebuild phases.
We didn't make it out entirely unscathed. We had some minor roof damage, and were without electricity, phone, and internet for several days. The neighbor's TV antenna was draped across their walkway (which I find odd, since their walkway wasn't damaged by it at all), and pulled the ties out of the roof. The combination of hail and tornado has caused them to have a mold problem in their attic, and the ceiling and wall of one room.
We did get electricity back, so I got bored and did things. I'll show those off in the appropriate forums later.

Yeah, I remember this incident.
The hail was so big, it cracked my uncle's windshield. There was a tornado about 30 miles west of where I lived. It was a little unnerving seeing the tornadoes on the news, destroying things that you recognized.

Luckily I don't live in a place where I have tornadoes or other major weather. Sometimes I've storms somewhere in summer but it isn't a frequent thing.

Same thing here. I live in the same country of Miguel, actually.
I get scared when I list something like this, and when I list stories about people killed by bolts... Luckily here aren't tornados or anything else

Neh, death can occur but only if you don't know how to protect itself also, IMO it's very good to sleep while there's rain (and storms too), it's relaxing but Austin if you didn't know, Brazil ever had a tornado if I'm not wrong.

The weather here is incredible. It's like summer weather, yet usually at this time I would be skiing in New York.
It's very odd, but very comfortable as well.
