Tip: Avoid "item babysitting". Do not force the player to drag P-Switches or springboards all around the level. This is not fun, nor does it make for interesting "puzzles".

Well, on Christmas I got a new camera. Here are some of my favorite shots from it so far.

My dog. Yes, the grass actually is that color in the winter.

Finding this near the beach was kind of creepy.

Tired dog!

For some reason, I really like this shot.

Its face is priceless.

I think it was cold.

Chained up.

Staring off into space.

I chose these out of about 400 pictures. I still am a beginner, so advice would always be nice.

This is a nice picture, especially with the off-angle shot.

It's like a Halloween ornament left somewhere.

Impressive. Good angle and great lighting.

A little blurry, but I like how it looks like the branches are part of the background.

screw dis i'm outta here
Seriously though, good shot. Out of curiosity, where was this bird when you took this picture? It looks like a road or cover or something transitioning into water.

At first I thought the background was a wall - it's a little hard to tell that it's the gray sky. Foreground's okay, though.

I love that the chain is the only thing on the image - could be used as a metaphor for something, I guess.

Great background. The foreground's a bit dark.

All in all, this is some great photographical work! Keep up the good shots!
To comment on the view that you had questions on...

For the "Its Face is Priceless", it was a Northern Mockingbird on my pool cover. It rained the night before, and then it froze over. I got a few shots of it running on there trying to find something to drink.

For "I Think It Was Cold", the background is the mix of a fence, a house, and grass. I tried to make the background as plain as possible so the bird really stood out.

I have been feeling sick lately (and running a lot), but I am sure I will eventually take more pictures.
I have a few this time.

Female Mallard Swimming

Shot this through a fence, so it isn't as sharp as I'd like it to be.

Mockingbird in tree
Holy cow these are some great photos.

This one's pretty good. Water looks a bit odd but eh.

Impressive. The angle also gives it a bit of depth, too.

This is the one I like the most. The light shining through the branches sets a very good mood for the photo.

Excellent work!
For the mallard one, the water was very shallow and dirty, so if you were talking about the color of it, that may be the reason.
Well, here are some new shots. I decided to try to experiment with how I shot them (and decided to not include any birds this time!)

Dead Seal on the Beach

Horseshoe Crab (for some reason, I like how they look up close)

I lied, and took a picture of a Tern.

Due to lowlight, lack of tripod, and my dog moving a lot, this shot was hard to get. Still, I really like it.
Awesome shots you have here! I really like the last one in your latest post in this thread. Awesome view point and it just has a good feeling when you look at it. Do you edit your photos at all in Photoshop?
Nah, I don't edit them in photoshop. I figured I just do this for fun, so I don't really want to spend too much time editing them. I prefer the raw photo.

Mute Swan relaxing.

Babies in the background.

Canada Goose is thinking/

This is by no means a good picture, but this just shows how fast Tree Swallows are.

Haven't gotten out much to take pictures, but I will soon.
These new photos are pretty cool. Swans are very pretty animals. I wish I had more around where I live.
I really like these. my favorite happens to be the skull on the branch. But at least the skull wasn't a HUMAN skull. That would be really scary.
Weeks later, and I have returned with a new batch of photos.

I love the red beak of an American Oystercatcher.

Going crabbing?

I believe that this is a ring-billed gull.

The new hotel.

I really like this shot. It was in the one of the parts of the shopping area in Revel.
I must be hated if I am not getting any comments. :3

Terns fighting for a fish.

Black Skimmer. Quite an interesting bird.

Female Needham's Skimmer

Eastern Pondhawk.
I wish I lived where you lived. You have awesome birds, interesting insects and nice places to shoot photography. the birds though really are beautiful. Nice work on these new photos. #w{=)}

First time I saw a Great Blue Heron

Moth

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

This is not a quality picture, but I love egrets.

Time for a new batch of pictures!

Philadelphia Vireo

Belted Kingfisher

Snowy Egret

Once in a blue moon..

Reflections

Sleeping Town
Very good! I think my favorite out of the batch is the moon one; it's very hard to photograph the moon, especially with such clarity.
Well, here are some more photographs.

I am a psychopath.

We had to do a book on the brain for Psychology class, so I wanted to use actual pictures, and my friend agreed to do a photoshoot. This was her favorite shot.

After the hurricane, we went to my grandma's house. Her neighbors across the street were outside, so I had to take a picture of Storm after the storm.

I found it interesting how the candle lit up the jar, making it look like an abstract sun.

I have a nice eye.

The last two were taken during the blackout. :P
