Not sure if there is a place to post this...
I have a challenge. I accidentally broke the ROM for my upcoming semi-vanilla hack, NEW Super Mario World, and I need help. I have uploaded the IPS patch for it, and I was wondering if there's anyone with enough experience to figure out what's wrong with it.
I have recently applied and (attempted to) remove both the Separate Luigi GFX patch and the SMBLL Style Player Select patch, and have used Smallhacker's Misc. Text Editor program.
Maybe someone could even hex-edit it. Fix the areas these three things would affect or something, restoring those areas to how they were in SMW.
This is a challenge maybe nobody can do, and it's mostly because of my inability to successfully hex edit a ROM.

This isn't a hack progress thread, so it doesn't belong in Works in Progress. Moved to General Hacking Help.
And why not just restore to a backup? Even if you didn't make one yourself, Lunar Magic creates them automatically.
