hi team,
iam from germany and we currently we translate the super mario world eu rom to german.
Now i want to change the endscreen bit dont find the offset wehre the tiles are stored.
Could anyone advice where in the us rom the adress is located?
I made a image from my current state
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19735616/Mario.PNG
Further.
I saw if you change the levelnames in lunar magic the complete levelroutine and names are store in the expanded area of the rom.
Could anyone said where this routine is located so we can use this in our translation
Thanks for your help

Um... what the fuck?
Why the heck would you translate SMW if it's already in english? What?

Moin!
I'm not absolutely certain this is what you need, but it is my best guess:
Code6383A $0C:B63A 52 bytes Misc.
The End text data (with Mario, Peach and Luigi.)
Our ROM Map has most of the other data you might need (palettes?) -- just CTRL+F for "The End" and you should find it.
ENDE

I don't know if it helps, there's a region switch code in SMW, change this PC address "x081D9" to 02 and it'll be PAL or 50Hz.

Jee, I dunno, maybe you should check the time he edited his post and the time I posted mine.
*giant derp image*
For the record, it first read as this:
Quoteiam from germany and we currently we translate the super mario world eu rom to english.
then he changed it to this:
Quoteiam from germany and we currently we translate the super mario world eu rom to german.
He knew he made a mistake there and he fixed it. But I did not edit my post.

It is possible to extract the GFX from mario world rom with lunar magic on the same way like Lunar mAgic to change tiles and so on?
Is there any list which possition has which adress in the standard 513kb rom (headred)

Or any other tile editor.
Check off "Use Joined GFX Files" in the Options menu to make it so much easier to edit.
